My wife has trouble finding size small work gloves that fit well (and are not cotton candy pink) These are great - comparable in size to Stihl size small if that helps very comfortable not super heavy duty, but holding up well after several days on the work site buying more

Great for casual stable/barn work!
I gave these a rating when I first got them, but I wanted to come back and give them a real review after using them for a solid chunk of time. I got these to wear when I volunteer at a stable once a week, where I do basic horse care, tack & grooming, mucking, etc. I wanted something to keep my hands warm when the temp started dropping, but also I needed gloves that could hold up to getting covered in mud and grime when picking hooves or taking off muddy blankets. I also have really weak nails that break and snag and tear, and these gloves have definitely saved me from that while I'm doing extensive work with my hands. I've been pretty pleased overall! I feel like I have fairly average sized hands, maybe on the smaller side, and I ordered the small. They fit me fairly tight (light impressions from the stitching are left on my hands after a few hours wear) but there is a tiny bit of extra room at the finger tips. I have to work some pretty tiny buckles on the horse tack, and I wouldn't want to go any larger because if the fingers were any longer I'd have to take the gloves off to work the smaller fastenings. I've washed these gloves a bunch of times and they've held up well, but I have ended up with a little big of reddish pink dye on my hands if the gloves get too wet during use, or if I need to spray them with alcohol for disinfectant around the property. The 4 star rating still holds, and I'd go up to 4.5 if I could. They're not completely perfect, but they do the job well and I am super frustrated when I forget to out them back in my car after washing. I'm putting a backup pair on my Christmas wishlist! UPDATE: Around a week after I wrote this, the leather wore through on the thumbs of both gloves during normal use. So I got about 1 year of use out of them, using them about 4 hours/week.

Update 1.25.21 Still holding up after significant wear and work. As mentioned, I'm pretty hard on my gloves. So far still no ripping at the seams which seemed to be the demise of the other brands. I am seeing the leather wear down at the finger tips and wondering how long until my fingertips split through. I'm still hopeful. Providing photos of the exterior in addition to the interior given some questions from others. ___ I'm way too hard on my gloves and often need something that fills the gamut from gardening to retaining block tough. I've gone through countless pairs of hardware store gloves, not only trying to find a size that fits a typical female hand but one that would last the test of time and endurance through whatever I seem to put it through around the house. Retaining wall blocks are usually the monster that destroys every pair, usually through the stitching in the fingers. I was looking for something that could defeat the beast while also providing breath-ability on those hot summer days and warmth on those cooler fall days. These seem to do the trick and they might have even made me a brand loyal customer if they can stand the test of time. Definitely recommended for ladies who are a bit tougher on their gloves than the typical gardening task allows.

Perfect garden gloves
I bought these for a friend whom I helped pull raspberry bushes with. My gloves, like these, were durable and safe to use with the thorns.

Looked good, but didn't fit.
I have a pair of other leather gloves (diff style and brand) that I love, but haven't been able to find a women's size replacement. Odd, but their large was too small for my hand and I don't have overly large hands. Had to return.

Not for long-term heavy wear projects
I have difficulty finding gloves that are actually small enough to be comfortable and user friendly (no extra fabric gapping at the fingertips that make fine work impossible). These gloves definitely work for that purpose! If you’re looking for every now and then, light-medium wear, these gloves are perfect. I pretty much destroyed them in two weeks BUT they did shockingly hold up in a machine wash/dry cycle. If necessary, hand washing and drying will most likely extend their life. I will probably just repurchase these as I go since they really are quite comfortable, fit well, and are a good value.
