Well Constructed, Warm Layer, Pretty Color

Trolling Amazon to find a classically constructed garment that isn't falling apart before it leaves the factory means having time and patience. Once I saw the Dickies label and read other reviews, I knew I had to try this garment and I am 100% pleased. I wore it out on my walk today in the 54 degree weather, with smartwool, a cotton shirt, and a hoodie, and it was the exact 4th layer I needed to stay warm. I was very comfy. On a 60 - 70 degree day you could have this over one other warm layer. The vest is lined with a cotton blend. That is a wonderful touch in the design and makes the whole thing thick enough for a winter vest. I was looking for a pink that isn't too bright or garish, one that is more of a subtle color that doesn't lean toward peach; I am very happy with the pink color of this vest. I love that it is roomy without being too big. In the first pix I'm wearing it over those two shirts and a thick hoodie and it is still comfortable, not at all too tight. I took off the hoodie and put the vest back on and it still did not look or feel too big. Part of this is due to the construction; this vest will not lose it's shape or stretch, and the stretchier "bomber" feature at the bottom makes it fit just so to your hips and stay there, not move all over. I ordered a Medium and this is true to size. I am 5' 6", 147 lbs, 38-32-40. There is room at the top for someone with bigger "girls", but on me it does not feel too big up there. I included pix of the details to show you how well this is made. Get it, enjoy it!

Not warm

It looked like it was at least a thicker quilt and have some warmth, but it wasn’t.

So happy I decided on this one

I love this vest! I looked through many other best options but ended up choosing this one and I’m so glad I did. I wasn’t expecting to like the way it fit that well because 1. I’m very picky with how things fit and 2. You never really know when you order online. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfect. It’s not bulking but it’s cute and warm and casual. I got the green vest and it had a light grey soft material on the inside, everything is good quality too. Very happy that I chose this vest over the others that I was looking at. Worth the money and was delivered quick.

Make sure you wash it with the zipper zipped up otherwise the zipper may break off.

Bombs Away!

VEST RUNS A TAD SMALL BUT ITS MANAGEABLE. NICE SIZE POCKETS AND QUILTS NOT BIG AND PUFFY SO YOU CAN WEAR IT UNDER COAT OR JACKET.

The perfect fall vest!

This is the perfect vest for riding horses in weather that’s cold, but not quite cold enough yet to wear a coat. I actually had to unzip my vest a little bit because I was getting too warm! Love this vest!
