Break easily
I had to replace 3 times before i was able to fit in the hole. Also the top too lose so i had to glue it so it wont move becuase the cable i use not connected all the time and can full down into the hole. Over all work fine after modification and gentle installation

WRONG SIZE - POOR QUALITY CONTROL- DON'T BUY THESE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE
Although the construction of these grommets seems "adequate" considering what it is, the manufacturer seems to have no concept that the dimensions might be an important consideration also. I ordered these despite mixed reviews for the same issue because it was a fairly even split between "too big" and "too small", and I attributed the mixed bag to operator error. It seems I was wrong. I bought these to complete a custom built hardwood desk and shelving project. I waited until they arrived, and even then drilled a couple of "test" holes in scrap material first. They DO NOT fit in a 2" hole, and a 2 1/8" hole is a sloppy fit. It looks like a 2 1/16" hole is what's called for, but it's not a terribly common size. I do not own a 2 1/16" forstner bit. I can order one for $25, or I can try ordering different grommets from a different manufacturer. Either way it sets me back a week and costs me more money to compensate for extremely poor quality control for the sake of $5 worth of ill-fitting pieces made by a manufacturer who obviously doesn't give a sh#t. Save yourself the trouble and aggravation... buy something else right from the start.

Keep finding new uses great product.
Worked great, wish they made a 1 inch model. Tough plastic yet easy to modify when necessary. I used a little smear of clear silicone just to keep everything in place.

They're borderline 'don't like' (2 star). I needed 2. Glad I got 10. broke 2 so far, just on initial installation (and not finished yet). Plastic is pretty cheap. A bit concerned whether they'll survive long-term, once everything is installed, cables routed, and not moving. Make sure you buy more than you need. Update (May 2017) - downgraded to a 1. They are not 2", they are just slightly bigger. My original review was for putting them into granite, I think the granite hole was slightly oversize, hence the 'snug' fit (that broke 2). I just tried installing them in a wood desktop 2" hole, and they are too tight. Any force (or impact) to drive them in will break them (since they are so brittle). If you're looking for a 2" desk grommet, these are NOT it!

Works great, fits well in a 2" hole. If you want to use the cover you can't have too many cables. It fully maxed out for me at Power, VGA, Audio and 2x cat6 cables.
