The fit is wonky, you have to make choices

The legs are too tall for the barrel connection. Ok I made a design change to provide a cook top. Once the barrel exhaust is hooked up direct it's a very sturdy connection A design change to legs is nessasary. A welder for a friend would be helpful

Worth the price with caveats

Far from precisely engineered , no biggie it a garage barrel stove. But the nuts and bolts are pure xhina pot metal garbage go to the hardware stire and get better bolts.

the barrel adapters don’t fit the barrel’s

didn’t really like any of the barrel kit wasn’t cast correctly to fit on a 55 gallon drum

Definitely not cut at the correct angle of two barrels. But a guy can make it work with a little finesse.

This is a great kit if you're making a smoker. Seems useless as a camp stove.

I bought this and the single camp stove kit for the express purpose of making a barbecue smoker. Since I was cutting the top quarter off the drum to make a hinged lid, I had easy access to all of the bolts from the mating legs. If I hadn't done that I don't know how anyone would ever connect legs. Reaching through the flue holes is at beast awkward and at worst impossible. All that said, I think my smoker is the perfect use for the kit. A roaring fire in the bottom drum makes the top drum hit a stable 350° and it's easy to nurse hours of smoke at around 220°. If you're making a smoke like mine, I recommend!

Help, I Need Help…

Good product well made. We had a drum set that needed to be replaced as the drums finally rusted out. This was an identical match. Just make sure you have a friend to help with the assembly and you will be happy.
