easy and long lasting

This Tulip product is great. Today I want to make pastels so will water down the liquid into other bottles collected. BTW, I keep reading this dye doesn't last after a few hours! Not True. I had some for a YEAR, used it and it was fine, just not as bright as the first time, but totally fine. I believe the key is soaking your fabric in Soda Ash first.

Blues are great, gray not so much

The blues turned out great, but the gray die ruined the whole look! Came out yellow and pink! What? So it threw off the whole moody blues design

Wonderful colors!

I love the colors in this set, it's a little different than the usual bright colors you see. They're a bit more earthy while still being fun and vibrant.

Different color of dye in the mix.

There was green, yellow and red dye in my grey dye. You can see that the sweatshirt has some spots that are green. ????. Customer was not happy

Fun and easy project!

Love this product. Was super easy to do with the kids. Make sure to wear the gloves because it will stain your hands. Once we applied all of the color, we put in a plastic bag for 2 days and then rinsed the shirts out. We were able to do 3 kid shirts, 2 adult shirts and a linen dish towel with this kit. I like that these colors are not loud colors, more natural looking.

Much better bottles than the kits with tons of bottles.

The bottles sealed much better on this kit than in others. Make sure you wear gloves. Nice colors, though.

Shibori Dye Kit

Works well, easy to do. Comes out lighter than expected, and once you add water and mix the dye, you have to use it or lose it, so it's wasted if you only want to die one thing. One bottle did a scarf, two bags and a t-shirt.

It's alright. Not exactly as shown

They don't explain that to get the colors on the sample photos, you'd need to water down all of the dyes. If I had known that, I would have done it. I did not and had bought this for my nieces to do with me during a visit. Needless to say their shirts turned out brown and merky looking. And the pink at its most potent (not being watered down) did not make any color at all. Very disappointed with this kit. If I had known I would have bought the regular highlighter colors, but thought these would turn out cool and a bit different.
