Perfect for under an orthopedic boot

I needed something with padding after ORIF surgery on my broken ankle. This sock was perfect for under the boot. The padding was in exactly the right place.

They are what they say….Max Cushion

These Thorlo ski socks are what they say they are. Thick socks, they match my other pair of thick socks as far as fit and feel inside my ski boot. I had to micro adjust my boot buckles to get a looser fit and clamp to hard down on my foot compared to my slightly thinner ski socks. Not an issue, just be aware that you may have to do this for comfort. Great buy and keeps you foot toasty warm and comfortable.

soft and comfortable

Pros: Super soft, cushioned, comfortable, and warm. Cons: on my first day wearing them, my finger poked a hole in the sock while trying to put it on. I wore them skiing and it was 10 degrees out. My toes got a little cold for a few hours but not to the point of being uncomfortable. In the afternoon it warmed up and I was fine.

Thorlo quality going downhill

I've used Thorlo socks for 30+ years and their ski socks generally last 10+ years, since I only ski 20 days/year and have 2 pairs of socks. This pair developed a hole less than 60 days after arrival (about 6 days of use) and the current Thorlo warranty is only valid for 30 days. Given the price premium, I expect more from Thorlo quality. Fit it good- perfect thickness for alpine skiing. Warm while still being able to retain good feel for terrain. Edit- Thorlo agreed to replace product, so thankful for good customer service!

These socks are amazing. So comfortable and so warm. I bought everyone a pair for a Christmas table gift!!! We are a skiing family. Bought the same ones in kids sizes too.

Doesn't match picture

They fit amazing and are wicked soft. Just what I was looking for to wear in my snowboard boots. Only reason is not 5 stars is it doesn't match the pictures.
