Casdorii super dulci!

A little too difficult for my 7 yo
Love this! Truly a great gift. And lots of unique ways for kids to assemble the pieces. My only gripe is that the instructions for the basic gum all machine was a little too difficult for my 7yo to follow. He got frustrated and required assistance to assemble. Now it has been sitting on the shelf since. I wish the first time would have been easier so he kept his enthusiasm.

Great educational toy
Bought this as a gift and wound up playing with it for awhile myself. Several set ups that are well thought out and teach physics in a very approachable way. Great educational toy!!

Good for stem activity but cheap material.
My daughter asked for this for Christmas, unfortunately we would have been better off buying an actual gumball dispenser. While trying to connect the plastic pieces some of the connector slots broke off of a couple pieces which makes them unusable. The tower is also a tad short to really make any creative paths for the marble to travel. Toy wasn’t worth the price in my opinion, we donated it after a few months.

A fun experience for my 11 year old
My 11 year old was gifted this and has had a blast putting it together in various different ways. While the "machine" itself is not the highest quality plastic my child has had no issues with getting various parts to fit and work. All in all a nice gift for kids who like "mouse-trap" types of machines.

Disappointing
This was at the top of my 6 year old’s Christmas list and she was thrilled to get it! Until we opened it. It was too difficult for her to assemble on her own. Her father and I struggled to assemble it together, so I don’t know how a kid is supposed to do it. Even after we got it together the gum balls do not roll down the way they’re supposed to and just end up all over the place. I guess chasing them across the floor could be fun for a kid. It leaves gum ball crumbs all over the area where it’s used and there isn’t a top to it, so your gum balls are open to collecting dust and whatever else might be flying around in the air. Seriously over priced. I wish I’d just gotten a $5 gum ball machine from Walmart and saved my money.

Eh, it's ok.
We bought this for our son for his birthday. He was so excited and thinks it's great to have a gumball machine in his room. It's cool looking, but it tips very easily and he's had to clean up a whole lot of gumballs more than once, which is very frustrating. I had hoped it would be sturdier, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The kids have a great time with this!
A lot of other reviews said that the pieces broke as they tried to build this, but I haven't had any issues. When we first opened it, my son (8) and I spent about an hour going through each of the "builds." We didn't read the directions in the booklet, but instead watched the videos and just followed along by pausing and copying what they were doing. My two boys (age 8 and 6) have continued to play with this weekly by using their own creativity to do other builds. The only thing that doesn't work well is the mechanism that turns the gumballs and drops them into the "maze." When we had the bowl filled with gumballs, it constantly jammed and caused frustration. So we removed all the gumballs and put them in a separate container. Then we just drop one in at a time and turn the little wheel to let the gumball out into the maze. It seems to work well, by just doing one at a time. Overall, this is a fun screen-free toy!

Great Learning Exercises - Difficult execution (Used Marbles instead of Gumballs)
My son loves marble runs and looking at gumball machines when we pass by it at a local restaurant. Since he was two, he loved his marble runs, and weirdly called his marble runs a gumball machine (not sure why). So when I saw this, I thought it was perfect! Unfortunately, it didn't work out as well. The actual pieces are hard to configure. You're pulling or pushing the plastic pieces onto pegs while wondering if it's going to break. I studied the instructional pamphlet and kept wondering what I was doing wrong. There was a question on whether it can be used with marbles. Technically, it can and does, but some of the tricks don't work as well. That can also be a part of the lesson - using different types of "gumballs" to see what works. The marbles are too heavy for some of the tricks (or maybe we just put it together wrong). One issue we had with the domino slide - the tiny pieces just wouldn't stay on. I noticed that they were different shapes, so we played with the order of the pins but it didn't seem to help. Pinball launcher broke after the third set up. That became another lesson, looking at the pieces, figuring out where it broke and how to fix it. (We glued it back together and it works again). We use it with our marble runs now. We have it sitting on a shelf and build the marble run below it. My son loves turning the gumball machine crank, go through a few of its tricks, and have the marble drop into the marble run. At the time that we bought this, I tried to view it on youtube but kept seeing the same promotional video over and over again - so that didn't help. I do see new video uploads by Thomas Wetzel added here, which is absolutely helpful! Watch that while starting and it will help. Unfortunately, my son and I had to learn the hard way. Overall, even though it wasn't easy to put together - some plastic pieces broke and some tricks didn't work, my son loved it and we used it as a learning exercise. Why didn't some tricks work, would it work better this or that way? If we attached this here, what would happen?

Not quite what I expected
The side pieces are hard to put in place. Once assembled the gumball still falls off the track. I wasn't very satisfied with this product.

Missing Parts
We were very excited to have our little guy open on Christmas morning. Very disappointed to discover several parts missing from box, including the main base and globe that holds the gun balls
