DANGER!!! Do not purchase!

I bought these brackets less than one month ago to replace one of the original brackets that came with the Swing N Slide kit that is nearly TEN YEARS old. Tonight my 10 year old was on the swing when the bracket snapped sending her into the ground! She is well under the recommended weight for this product. I am thankful she just has bumps and bruises but this could have been really bad and someone could get seriously hurt. After inspection on the remaining bracket I saw that both grommets and completely worn out… after less than one month! The original brackets took nearly 10 years to wear out! This is either a forgery(shame on Amazon) or poor product (Shame on Swing N Slide). Either way the AG’s officer on consumer affairs is getting a call Monday along with other groups that handle children’s products.
