Band width is 2 sizes smaller then normal.

I loved this bra it is sturdy and looks good under clothes. There was a little issue with the band width which is too small around my back. When I went to order a larger band size the bra cup was too big and was distorted, making the bra pop out on the sides. I usually wear a 38DDD but may have put on a little weight and now I'm wearing a 40DDD in other bras, however in this bra I had to get extenders and it's still a little uncomfortable, so I get that 'I want to get out of this bra feeling', when I get home. The 38DDD cup fit well and minamized and gave me a little shape which is nice. After a year it's worn and I think I need to look elsewhere for a more comfortable fit, but I still wear it with the extender..

Tight in the band, Perfect in the cup

I'm consistently a 32DDD. I even have one of their other bra's in that size and it fits perfectly. Thus I was disappointed when this band was SO TIGHT, even clasped on the loosest rung. The cup size was perfect though, so I'm going to keep it and try to stretch out the band... still, rather bummed to have paid so much for it not to be perfect. Felt closer to a 30" - so keep in mind, you might want to size up in the band or be ready to stretch some elastic. It does what it says though!!! Kind of gives the illusion of smaller & perkier boobs. Like a push-up bra that doesn't strangle you in your own boob-fat or give you cleavage the size of the grand canyon. Very nice... once the band stretches out & doesn't dig into my back-fat-rolls. I guess beauty is pain.

Fabric in back very scratchy

I’ve worn this before and guess I’d forgotten how the back of band digs in. Cups are ok, but the back fabric is not smooth or silky. The band is stiff and scratchy. Many less expensive bras are made with nice soft material in the back. Straps are scratchy too.

Wacoal Women's Slimline - What you Need to Know

Eureka I found it! I had been wearing the Minimizer bra by Lilyette but it was discontinued, this is the closest bra to that one if you are looking for it! This is what you need to know: - This bra is sheer in the front, so if you wear a silk blouse, you can't see bulges from lace or other additions to the cup that tend to poke out in your clothes - the cup is not padded, however, it's thick enough so that if it's cold, you don't have your nipples poking out - the cup is very bountiful - meaning that the side of my DDD breasts are fully covered and none of my breasts are spilling out of the cup - I take a DDD and there are three hooks in the back, so I feel it's sturdy - This is hugely comfortable! I sometimes wear it to bed as it's more comfortable for me than going bra-less - The straps are adjustable all the way to the front of the bra from the back (I've had other bras, that I didn't like) that you could only adjust the side straps up to the tops of your shoulders, and not take it all the way to the front of the bra - The design and other additions to the bra are MINIMAL, so you don't get poking out of your blouse - This is a FULL COVERAGE bra, so even with DDD cups, I don't have cleavage that shows if my blouse buttons too low - I do not jiggle when I walk in this bra as I did in others that claimed to be minimizers (Spanx) - The best comparison with this bra is the Prima Dona bra, I am trying both out on my 38 DDD breasts, I tried the Spanx, but it's too jiggly In short: I recommend this if you have large breasts, don't want cleavage to show, want your breasts FULLY COVERED, and do not want to jiggle! Have to agree with all of the excellent reviews. Fits perfect, doesn't flatten you out or squish you into underarm fat or back fat. Makes me look a little slimmer all while being very comfortable. Also doesn't make you look like pointy missles like some of the bras I have bought lately. Like one reviewer said I need to buy a bunch of these so when they discontinue this one I will still have some waiting to wear. Because they always discontinue the ones I come to love don't they?? Please Wacoul...keep this one around!

The best

I LOVE these bras! I have been buying them for years and years. They are expensive, so sometimes I cheap out and try something else, but I always regret it and come back. These are weirdly comfortable. The fabric has no give in the cup, and a little in the rest of it. But that's the point, squish the girls so you can wear regular clothes! Even with the 'squishing', it is still comfortable. It's just made well. All the straps and wires are in the right places, so it doesn't dig. This is one of the few bras that I have ever worn that I don't have to adjust throughout the day. It does not camophlage nipples well, so to make it a "t-shirt bra", I wear removable pads when I think I'll need them. The decorations on the cup dont show through on any of my shirts, so that part is good. Another tip: Order a size up. I get it, we don't want to feel BIGGER! Ugh! But, you will thank me. We both know that you aren't really the larger size. These just run a smidge small, and your normal size will be uncomfortable. I ordered a size up with band and cup size, and it's perfect, and I look smaller on the top with no jiggle! Mission accomplished. I used to even jog in this! The girls stay put and behave. A good buy.

Great fit but wish they’d used better material

I’m giving it a 4 because it’s became my favourite bra fit wise but wish they’d used better material. When you pay almost $100 CAD you’d expect it to be durable and I highly doubt it is. The plastic loops look fragile and the material isn’t so comfortable . It’s a shame because the fit is GREAT

Best Minimizer Yet

Finally after trying on many minimizer bras, I found the perfect fit and look. There is no overflow at the top, and it provides a nice shape and supportive, comfortable fit. It looks great with my T-shirts which is something I didn't expect! Very impressed, will be shopping for different colours when available.
