Good Old Fashioned Firm Support

After spraining my ankle and using an ace bandage for a few days, I came onto Amazon looking for something that would be a bit easier to manage. I tried many of the other options and sent them all back. Those black patterned ones that come up near the top of your search query were no better than my regular Thorleau walking socks! Now this little number is my favorite. It's nice and firm, but not uncomfortable. It has helped tremendously and I'm back on here today to buy another so I can have one to wear while the other is being washed and dried. Ignore those flimsy nylon sleeve type socks. They just don't give you the support. Try this and you won't be disappointed! I wear an 8.5-9 women's shoe and a Medium is perfect. Follow the instructions and measure around your ankle. Just excellent!

So much easier than bandaging!

I could say 'Just what the doctor ordered', but really it was what I knew I needed after falling and badly bruising my ankles. Good compression, although a bit difficult with some shoes: wore them with my sandals and got a bad blister! Much better now!

NOT a brace--no more support than an Ace bandage, and awkward to put on a sore ankle

Does not give much support at all, and it hurt to work it onto my injured ankle Stick with an elastic bandage or, if you want real support, buy a brace. The Ossur Form Fit Ankle Brace is 5 star and I have reviewed it.

Too tight

I had measured my ankle as suggested and had ordered a size medium. Unfortunately It was too tight. I went to ask for an exchange for a large size. Unfortunately I hadn't read the small print. They do not accept returns.

I like the firm support, but was disappointed that on me the ankle support isn't as long as the one shown in the photos. Perhaps the model has shirt legs. Just needs to be a couple of inches longer and fir me it would be perfect.

Great support

This gives me excellent support around my ankle after I fractured it some years ago and it’s still causing me pain and discomfort. This is very tight and does a great job supporting my ankle. At this low price you cannot go wrong.

This product is made of good quality elastic which supports very well offering light compression to relieve my discomfort of foot, ankle and leg pain. I would highly recommend as you won't be disappointed.
