Cool industrial look and seemingly quite sturdy

Wanted some curtains to block out the sun light and mute traffic noise when sleeping in after working evenings or nights. Was looking at different room darkening rods and was looking for something that seemed durable as I saw a lot of them which looked dainty. I found these to be not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the industrial look to them but they also looked like they would hold up well. They were pretty easy to put together. The little protective plastic insert on the rod was a bit difficult to get out but other than that everything went together as it should. Hung curtsins on it and it feels sturdy. I am still not sure if going to put the extra stabililizer piece on the center. The window is about five feet wide and it feels really solid. So I dont know yet if I am going to install the center bracket. Probably the thing That stands out the most to me was the end brackets. They are heavy and I mean that in a good way. They mounted quite solidly. I put some tension on each to see and they don't budge. I have blackout curtains on them and while they are not the heaviest curtains they are not light either. Overall quite pleased. Was delivered on promised date.

Sturdy, but rough finish

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are sturdy, so easy to put up and look great. Only reason for 4 stars is the finish is very rough and unless you have curtains on rings, they will not slide open and closed easily. I ended up sanding off the roughness slightly and my curtains slide much better.

Wonderful design

Looks great! Not too shiny and not matte either. Install was easy and is holding up well in my child’s room. I would buy again.

Color is off

I see some pictures with the rod that have more of a gold hue. That's what I ordered (aged brass) and it definitely looks more like pewter. I'm keeping it because it still looks ok and I already have it installed but I'm disappointed in the color. The box said it was aged brass too.

The finish looks very nice!

I replaced the existing curtain rod with ease. Matches nicely with my teenager's decor. She went with walnut wood and gold accents.

These have a rough texture to them that did not allow curtains to slide on them. It keep snagging the fabric and they won’t close.
