Looks great, well made

This quilt looks great and is well made. I washed it in cold water and it shrunk a few inches inches in width so the sides don't hang down on the sides of the bed as long as I would wish. It became softer after one washing and I hope it will be softer after additional washings. I do recommend washing first since lots of lint came off it in the dryer.

Promo photo is very true to the colors I wanted for our bedroom.

I specifically wanted green tones. Splashy tropical prints wouldn't do; we are mountain people. So this horizontal stripe pattern in greens, sky blues & cedar tones was perfect. Walls were painted a year ago & the color match is awesome. It fits our Queen mattress well across the bed, though I could wish for more length. "Medium weight" is appropriate description. We aren't using the pillow shams, as they look baggy on our pillows. I might do some sewing to take them in later. Like many linens these days, it's made in China. I had hoped to buy American. But honestly, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Great Light Weight Quilt

Great light weight quilt for year round use (I’ll add a blanket layer in winter). It washed and dried well. Other reviews say the color was different than expected, but its exactly as pictured to me. Mine is a queen and I use it with the stripes running vertically on the bed. Very happy with this purchase.

Large, Lovely, and Comfortable Cotton!

I was looking for a cotton bedspread when I ran across this set. It was reasonably priced and had good reviews so I ordered it. I am so glad that I did as it's exceeded my expectations! It is a pretty, colorful quilt set and very comfortable in use. I washed it before putting it on our bed and it came through beautifully. It is large enough to hang over the sides and foot of our king size bed, covering the mattress plus a bit more. The shams fit our king pillows and tie closed on the end. The front of the shams are the quilted material while the back is just regular, cotton fabric in the same striped pattern. I like this set so much that I have considered ordering another set in either queen or king size for our other beds. I highly recommend it if you find it attractive. There are similar sets by this company in other patterns too. Shop around for them and the best price as it is available from other internet and local stores as well, but Amazon's price was the best deal for me. Edit- I've purchased another set, I love it so much!

This is a very nice set and I am overall very pleased with it. I read other reviews and many had mentioned yellow or rust colors that are in this set and they are there, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't look as pictured. Up close it is easy to see the colors and from a small sample I probably wouldn't have picket this set. However, when you look at this set on a made bed or even from just a few feet away it really is very nicely colored. The rust colors make the brown stand out a little more. We have sagey green walls in our bedroom and it looks amazing. So far, I am happy with the quality and it is plenty warm. I am generally warm when I am sleeping so it might not be sufficient for some, but any more would be too much for me. I haven't put the effort into buying king sized pillows so I still haven't used the pillow cases yet. I wish it was a little wider. The picture shows a nice overhang. I can only achieve this by skimping on one side of the bed. I have never felt like it wasn't big enough when sleeping, just when the bed is made.

Nice Quality

This is a good quilt. It looks nice and has a good weight to it (it was heavier than I expected). As others have noted, there are some rust and yellow-ish colors, but I do think you can see them in the picture. I thought they were fine and the blues, greens and browns are still what catches my eye the most. It might depend on the other colors in your room. I have a lot of green, brown, and gray already, so I don't mind the other colors for some variety. My one observation is this did take a good amount of time to dry on the low heat setting of my dryer. I had it in there alone with 6 dryer balls and still had to run it through multiple timed (non-sensored) cycles. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase.

Fine purchase

I purchased a king-sized quilt for a queen-sized bed with a deep mattress, and the edges just skim the floor as I wanted. It seems well-made. The colours are very close to the picture.

Colours are different

The colours are different - almost the same, but the quilt contains stripes of yellow and brown in addition to the colours shown. The label on the pavkage looks like the Amazon listing, but you can see from the photo that the actual product is different.
