Great for Hanging Items and a very good value
I purchased this to hang carved wood Halloween decorations a few pounds a piece and cut out paper bats. The line worked like a charm. A very good weight and hardly noticeable. If you are planning on using this line for hanging items, just know it comes off the holder VERY curled. A heavier item will eventually weigh it down into a straight position but the line is a good thickness so anything light, as in the paper bats we hung, will keep it curled. Since it worked so well for Halloween, I'm planning on using it for Christmas and also for picture frames. I have no cons for this item for the applications I used it for.

A little brittle, even for craft use
As far as cheaper monofilaments go, this is just fine for playing around with. But, when you have a (much less than 60 pound) fish on the line, twice, and the line snaps, twice, then patience for the product goes out the window. I was river fishing, so my best guess is that it snapped when the line twisted or contorted. It was also the first bit of line off the, so if it was stored improperly at the warehouse, it could have become brittle from heat or sunlight. The only thing I caught after losing the first 2 were tree branches, which you will be pleased to know, did not snap the line. For craft and home uses, I think this is just fine. But next time I might try a more expensive line before I go home hungry.

Has Held Up Well To Hold Wind Chimes
I bought this line to fix my wind chimes which always tend to fall apart with high wind. This line works great and has not worn out despite high sun exposure and lots and lots of wind. I know this is not the intended purpose of fishing line, but if it works this well in these extreme conditions then I am sure it will work well for fishing also.

Good price for fishing line for use in crafts and decorations where high strength is not required but price is more important.

Good if you want to capture a shark
I bought this for a beaded craft project. My friend suggested getting fishing line, so I bought it without looking at the product details. When I got it, I realized that it probably won't work for my specific project. Things you could do: -Capture a shark -Tow a truck -Create one of those child leashes -Tie down snowboards to the roof of your car -Bundle up firewood -Fasten your tent down so it doesn't blow away. Things you can't do: -Small beaded projects

I'm not using it to fish, but rather I have strung it across two poles to act as a trellis for some of my vegetables. I may have tighten the lines some more as the vegetables have not grown enough to start attaching themselves to the line.

Good line if you need it
this is some 60 pound line and it is very thick. So be careful for what you buy it for. will do the job unless you fish for small fish in fresh water. good line though but had a hard time cinching knots down but I think that is just me.

Warning: This product contains lead...
I was not aware until this product arrived today that it contains lead. There is a warning label on the back. When I googled to further research its safety, the only thing I found was someone else asking the same thing. He was also using it for a hobby project rather than fishing. Unfortunately all he received were snarky answers, as if the person were somehow "afraid" they would get lead poisoning, ooh. Well, I for one, do not want to handle this product even though being careful will probably not cause any exposure to the lead encased in polymer. With one-third of my family dead from cancer, I want to take extra precautions, and I feel bad for the person who was searching for information like me as to whether lead could be absorbed into the hands using this product, and all he got was sarcastic, what are you a sissy, answers. This product I am sure is great for people who are not concerned with this lead issue, but I am.
