Love the Galaxy design
I really like the Pfalzgraff Galaxy dishware. They good quality Stoneware. The only thing I didn't realize how much space Stoneware takes. The large plates and bowls are quite large, but I just don't crowd food on my plate, and the bowls don't have to be filled up; just go to the first ring and that is plenty. What I love the most is the design and the quality of these dishes. I wish they had some matching service ware; like a platter and serving dishes.

These dish sets are great. I picked up the stripped set. The box was secure. The dishes are great looking, with various colors. We have microwaved and dish-washed them. They’re fine!

Excellent Set
This is a quality set. It is well finished and has excellent weight. I look forward to years of use. Delivery was as promised, and packed extremely well in the original Pfaltzgraff boxes. I imagine it could withstand quite a bit of rough handling without any damage. Only thing, was Amazon packed the original box inside a much larger box which served no purpose other than to allow the Pfaltzgraff box to flop around inside. Don't know why that was necessary, but as I said the original packaging was substantial so no harm.

Chipped right out of the box
We really liked the color and the dishes seemed sturdy. Sadly, we noticed a chip and not a tiny one, right out of the box. If the manufacturer would be willing to send us a replacement plate we would be open to upgrading the review. But for the price I would expect that the dishes would arrive without defects (didn't appear to be a shipping issue).????

Great product so far
I always read the worst reviews prior to ordering. Most concerns seemed to be about scratches, paint imperfections, or lol too big to fit on cabinet shelf (a plus for me) After a couple of weeks we are still thrilled with our purchase- scratchability tbs. They are a lighter weight than our faltzgraf ocean breeze purchased years ago, but not too bad. We love the deep plates and bowls and large mugs. No plate imperfections or packaging breakage. Senior note- when handling the plates, the lip and the "mold circle" are far apart, and make it more likely for a small person to drop the plate when gripping vertically.

Bright & colorful. Clean well in the dishwasher. Sturdy. Found a couple small flaws in the handle of a mug but it’s not that noticeable & doesn’t effect it’s use

Love These
I finally decided to replace my old set of Pfaltzgraff after 20 years. (My old ones are going to a college apartment. I lost a few pieces by dropping, but the rest held up incredibly well with only a couple chipped coffee cups.) I love the new ones even more. The colors are beautiful and rich. The bowls in this set are bigger, and the dinner plates remain a nice generous size. I ordered 3 sets to get serving for 12. All were consistent and they were very nicely packaged and arrived in perfect shape. True quality work. You do have to be careful not to soak these for long periods as they will absorb water and could lead to cracking with temperature changes. I never experienced this problem though. I just rinse and put in dishwasher.
