Great option for versatility/portion control

I purchased two sets. The color variation on the dishes is similar, but not a perfect match. For me, this adds an interest element of design but if someone wants "exact matching", you may want to be aware of this. These are a perfect complement for a rustic, shabby chic or farmhouse type decor. I purchased the beige color. Some plates are almost all one tone of beige, others have more of a brownish swirl in the center. Not overly different, but a definite variation in color. The plates are smaller and thicker than my old Corelle, with a raised edge (this took a while for my husband to get used to). I have found this to be a great advantage for portion control and when serving messier foods, such as spaghetti. The bowls are nice and deep, fitting nicely on the plates if you are serving soup and sandwiches. The mugs ended up being my favorite part of the set! The rubber-type band around the middle offers a great grip and also prevents the dreaded "hot hands" effect when microwaving. They fit very comfortably in the hand and the little rubber lids keep liquids hotter longer. The only reason I didn't give a five-star review is I found some of the product description not fully explanatory (but not intentionally deceptive, either). This really only pertains to the mugs, as the actual mug counts as one piece and the rubber topper as another. When I ordered a set of the mugs for my father-in-law, it read as four pieces, but I interpreted it as four mugs and was surprised when only two mugs arrived. Overall, if you like a slightly smaller unique shaped plate that are very versatile, I highly recommend these. I would purchase this product again.

Good quality

Came well packaged. Durable. Long lasting. Not sure how to feel about the tumblrs. Only bought them because it was a good brand and it was a set that came with bowls and plates. I expected the plates to be a little bigger, other than that good sizing for portion control and I love that it’s a plate with a rim

love them, but the colors aren’t uniform

i bought this set as my first dinnerware set got my new apartment and i love them, but the bowls are a different color than the plates. the color discrepancy isn’t that big of an issue, but i would have loved them if they were all the same color. i will probably buy the set again though because they are sturdy and haven’t broken or chipped since buying and i like the quality of the material.

Absolutely stunning

The product images don’t do this set any justice. It’s a little bit darker in person but not significantly darker. I ordered one set (12 pieces) to see if I would like them in person. They are heavy but a good heavy. I absolutely love the raised edges around the plates. That will do wonderfully when we have creamy or saucy dishes. I did order a second set of 12 pieces immediately after I opened the first set. Still stunningly gorgeous. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in these. They are heavy. I did have a hard time trying to get both packages of plates out of the box.

Not super durable

Got a chip on a plate within the first week, it was after removing from the dishwasher. Would recommend hand washing and being extra careful.

Not microwave safe

I was using the plate as a lid on top of the bowl to heat some carrots. It was going for 2 & 1/2 minutes when I heard a loud crack. I opened the microwave and saw that the plate was cracked all the way through. I am very upset because aside from this, the set has been treating my husband and I very well. They are very sturdy plates, but just not sure how they can be advertised as microwave safe if something like this can happen.

Corelle Dinnerware

These are very beautiful dishes but I'm having a lot of trouble with chipping. I haven't even had mine a year yet and there's quite a few chips already. It seems like the medium sized plate chips the most.
