Towel bar not straight at joining

The colour matched my faucets perfect so I k ew I needed them but the towel bar doesn’t stay straight at joining. Wish it was a solid bar.

Design Flaw

The color and style of this set was just what I was looking for and buying it by the set was much more economical than purchasing individual pieces. I had some misgivings about the rod for the towel rack being in two pieces, but Delta is a well known brand so I went for it. The person I hired to install these fixtures got the towel bar together and I heard, "Uh oh...this isn't good!" There was a lot of play in the bar as the plastic connector piece was not snug enough. Fortunately, the installer was able to snug it up using duct tape, but that should never have been necessary. If I hadn't hired someone to install the set, I would have returned it. But since two pieces had already been installed and he was able to resolve the issue, I'm keeping it. However, I do intend to contact Delta and lodge a complaint.

For the most part, I like this set. But if you extend the longer bar it causes it not to stay perfectly straight. It sort of bends at the line it pulls out from.

I love my new bath fixtures

I love my new bath fixtures, I even installed it myself, installation is very easy, if I can do it I know anybody can. Looks great in my bathroom. Good product.

Brackets are wonky

I bought this trying to save a little bit of cash. The new Delta version of this set has a more traditional bracket hanging set. I got this from the HD for $70. I thought I could save some dough on this one since it is the same style just last year's version. Big mistake. The brackets just slide on from the top. They do not lock in place with a small screw like most bathroom hardware. The fittings will move with very little force applied to them. Not good for a towel bar. I would return this set if I hadn't installed one of the pieces already. Save your money.

Looks nice on paper, but underwhelming

Looks nice, "name brand" (really just made by another company that also sells products under their own name). The mounting template is a nice touch but we found it tough to get items level. The worst is the extension piece for the towel rack. I thought it would be a screw in thread, but instead it just has a plastic cap that you push in. I think if I did it again I would just just look for a 24" rack that didn't need an extension.

The only problem with the towel bar is the joining ...

The only problem with the towel bar is the joining sections are too loose so I had to glue them together . Otherwise I am quite impressed with the quality of the product .
