As Advertised
After frying everything else in my home, I started to ponder my next scheme. Then it occurred to me -- I forgot something -- one of the most important and abundant substances in my home: THE AIR! I HADN'T FRIED THE AIR! If I could fry the air, I could complete my frying dominance. This unit did not disappoint. Together, my air fryer and I conquered and achieved air supremacy. Be a legend. It’s pretty nice!
My friend just got married and wanted an air fryer and I called dibs on getting her one. My boyfriend had also been wanting one and his birthday was a few weeks before her wedding. I bought him this air fryer as a test run and he LOVES it! He’s made multiple things including a great steak and hasn’t had a problem. It comes with extra bells and whistles and it’s easy to clean too. I bought it for my friends wedding in pink and she’s Loves hers too. It’s worth it! My only complaint is the price seems to fluctuate like crazy on these. One day its $47 and a week later its $70. Either way, it’s great!

Love this air fryer
Air Fryer is so easy to use and works well. It is non stick which makes it easy to clean. Good sized capacity and it only has two knobs so no trying to figure out digital settings. One knob for temperature and one knob for time. I liked it so well I bought a second one for the RV.

How to repair the "tray inserted" safety microswitch.
We have two of these air fryers and love them. We've also given many of them to family and friends as gifts. They do have one quality issue, the safety microswitch, which confirms that the tray is fully inserted, goes bad after a while, most likely due to excessive heat. I searched the internet and found one video on YouTube where someone attempted to diagnose the problem and repair it. They were not successful, but this gave me the confidence to try it myself. Disclaimer: Attempt repairs at your own risk! If you don't know what you're doing, don't try this! Make sure the unit is unplugged and cool before working on it. If you are not handy at repairing things, then best not to try this!!! If you are skilled and confident at doing repairs, then here is what I did. First, gently pry off the two knobs. The lower one was a bit tight, and you need to work your way around gently so as not to break it. Then there are two screws to remove each of the decorative plates for the knobs. Keep the screws together with its plate and remember which plate goes on top and bottom. Then comes the trickiest part: removing the faceplate. The top prongs are held by friction. Pry them up working your way down from the top gently, using care not to crack the faceplate. The lower prongs are just hooked in. Don't try to pry them out! They will break. Once you release the top prongs, you can lift the faceplate up and off vertically. (I got this right on the second one I repaired.) After removing the faceplate you can access the microswitch. It is held by two screws and has two wires attached. These carry 110v so be careful to make sure they are firmly attached to the replacement switch prongs. I got replacement switches online for about $5 each. Be sure to get ones that match the originals as closely as possible. Normally open. I had to squeeze down the connectors on the wires to get them to grip the the terminals on the new switch, because they were thinner than the original switch. Also, be sure the plunger and spring under the microswitch are in correctly in place before screwing the new microswitch in place. Be sure to route the wires back to their original positions before reattaching the faceplate. Then reassemble. First hook the lower prongs of the faceplate in the body, then gently but firmly reinsert the upper prongs starting from the bottom and working your way up, and press down on the faceplate to seat the upper tabs. Then screw the knob trims back in place, press on the two knobs and you're done. Repairing the first one took me a couple of hours and I broke some of the lower tabs of the faceplate, because I worked from the bottom up. The second one took less than 30 minutes in total! It's not bad once you know how. I bought a few extra microswitches to have on hand for future repairs. I guess it's difficult to find switches that can stand up to the heat and function. But it's not so hard to replace them once you know how. Disclaimer: If what I said above doesn't make sense to you, you probably should not attempt this repair. If it does, I hope this is helpful. Again, be careful and make sure it is unplugged and cool before working on it. If you find heat resistant switches, I'd love to know where to buy them! I looked at other air fryer reviews, and many of them had similar complaints. It seems like a design defect for many of them. The safety microswitches are not designed to handle the heat. The replacements are mainly for microwave oven doors, which do not see as much heat. Goid luck!!!

Great Air Fryer!
Gotta say, dial settings for temp and time are soooo much easier than all the digital alternatives. This device is well-engineered, simple to use, very easy to clean, and cooks everything well. Really like that it has a metal interior as opposed to plastic on some others. This is our second one. We sometimes run both on two different circuits rather than running a two-sided air fryer, plus we get more cooking capacity this way. Cooks foods easily and seals in juices and great flavors. Thank you, Secura for a great product!

The media could not be loaded. Definitely buy this. Lol fell in love with this, I don’t even use my microwave anymore. I use my air fryer for my curly fries, chicken Pattie’s, chicken nuggets, toasting my bread, etc. this thing is a decent size & this cheap? Why haven’t you clicked to buy it yet? Buy it right now. Lol it’s definitely worth it. My first fryer ever, family member had one & we got it & that’s what made me want to buy my own one for my room & I’m glad I did. I also love this it’s not really loud & when the timer is done it makes that ding ????️ noise. Lol

Very nice air fryer
Air fryer came well packaged. Nice size. Instruction booklet is easy to follow. Air fryer is really easy to use and the basket holds a fair amount of food when you are preparing to use it. First time I have ever owned an air fryer. Works well for fries, onion rings, drumsticks and veggies. Booklet includes a few recipes that you can also attempt. Will also be trying a few other items at some point. You can also reheat food in the fryer. At the moment, I can only say positive things about this fryer.

My Only issue I had with this since I bought it in 2021 was the timer feature doesn't work anymore. It stopped shortly after purchase but I do not care I just use a timer with my phone or google home. I've cooked so many things it in. Easy to use. Fast. Easy to clean

Great budget option! Still going strong...
I;ve only had this air fryer for a day but so far I am impressed. It seems like a sturdy and well made unit and the basket has tons of space! I;m glad I chose the larger option out of the 2 Secura models. The UK version has the temperature in celcius which is helpful for folk like me who aren;t really familiar with farenheit. So far I have cooked some scones, double chocolate muffins and some frozen oven chips. Everything was cooked perfectly, even on the underside which my gas oven couldn;t achieve! The pan and insert are easy to clean and the interior part of the main unit just needs a wipe with a hot soapy cloth after use so the whole fryer is very easy to look after. The only thing I have noticed about this air fryer is that the fan sometimes gets a bit noisy. I don;t know if that is normal or just a thing this particular model does. I;m really happy with this air fryer, this brand is not very well known in Europe but gets great reviews in North America so I am hopeful that it will last for a decent amount of time. Its a great option if you don;t want to pay the eye watering price of some of the well known brands - especially if you want a large capacity basket without having to pay an arm and a leg! Edited to add on 19/4/20 : Still madly in love with this air fryer. We now regularly make full sized sponge cakes in 7" tins as well as the usual air fryer fare. It;s easy to clean and cooks food more quickly than my old gas oven used to. Can;t recommend this highly enough. 11/09/2022: This air fryer has been such a good purchase, we use it at least 5 times per week and it's still going strong! Can't fault it at all :)

I'm in love with my air fryer!
I hate cooking and this is my first ever air fryer. Total game changer! It's faster and a lot less messy than using an oven. I just cook for myself and am still glad I bought a nice large capacity fryer. I use it almost daily. This was one of the less expensive brands so perhaps the quality is not the same as more expensive ones? Still, I love it. 4 mild issues: 1. the dial at the top is a little difficult to turn, especially if your hands are wet or greasy. It would be helpful of it was ribbed or had some texture to it instead of being super smooth. The downside of not having it be digital(which of course are more expensive), is that it is difficult to set it for exact times--so I invested in a little dollar store digital timer to let me know when I have to turn the food over. 2. The basket is SUPER slippery(Teflon) - I have had it slide off my counter a few times, and even slide out of the machine when I don't have it in all the way--fortunately not with food in it! But make sure to put it on some textured surface for traction (tea towel, silicone trivet). when setting it on a counter. The metal is fairly thin and dents quite easily. 3. The screws inside the basket come loose - no doubt from all the force it takes at times to put the basket into the machine. I have to tighten them every couple weeks. 4. The Teflon is coming off in a couple spots around the top of the baskets, but so far not IN the basket. As a first time air fryer user--I am very pleased overall with this model. I was so enthused about it that my Mom and uncle then bought the same model. You know you're an adult when you get excited about appliances!

Very happy with the air way it cooks, and very easy to clean it can cook up to 1kg which is good size for 2 hungry people and the price is very reasonable and competitive to other more expensive ones I hope it will last for long time.
