Great value but could be improved.

This is a great chair for the price. It is light enough so most people can handle it. It is made of steel so it will probably last forever. There are two screws on each of the brake levers that need to be tightened frequently. I glued a magnet to a small wrench that i keep on the chair. The chair is too wide to go through some of my doors. Because the chair folds outward, I used a leather belt on the bottom to keep it from opening all the way. It fits through the doors very nicely while still maintaining its proper shape. The belt broke after a week, so I replaced it with a cable and clamps. A turnbuckle would have been better, but I didn't have time to make one.

Good quality

Good quality, but could be lighter. Dad had 2 broken hips in 5 months. With this experience I suggest buying a chair with full arms. Easier for people in pain to lower themselves into.

Not Bad For The Price

We purchased this wheelchair for a trip to Paris with my 85 year old mother in law. It is lightweight and folds easily, two very important attributes for this trip. We also didn’t want to spend a lot given the airlines reputation for losing and damaging mobility devices. Over the course of our 10 day journey it performed well enough. Two notable attributes; if you’re not paying attention you can easily pinch yourself when folding the chair; the leg/foot supports are tricky to take on and off and finicky to adjust. Not a dealbreaker, but could be an issuer over time. The chair did exactly what we needed it to for the trip - I would hesitate to suggest it for long term use, I’m not convinced it would hold up to daily use for an extended period of time.

A good Wheelchair for my brother

I liked the product. It was strong enouth and menuevered well during our trips to and from appointments. The only real issue we had was the up/down angle of the leg rests would extend up and move out of position during the fold up process. It would happen every time during the load and unload from the vehical. It was a minor issue, but inconvenient when it was storiming outside, to include raining or snowing. It would be nice if there was a way to lock the angle of the leg rest in position so this would not happen. All and all I love the product and would advise it for anyone who needed a reasonavbly priced wheelchair for this application.

Size does matter

It is hard to get in and out of the car, and I got one that was a little too wide because I did not know how to buy the right one. It also came part way put together and backwards. Overall still a good product.

Has almost every desired feature PLUS.

Most like the integration of compact size, light weight, and maneuverability in a single unit. Great for quick and easy transport.or general use. I do find the arms are surprisingly short and offer minimal support for transferr or standing. The lack of storage options or accessories is also disappointing, but these are drawbacks are to expected if you value the compact size. Recommend for small patients with weakness that make larger chairs overly taxing for Independent use.

Plastic Wheels?

This is my first wheelchair purchase so I didn't know what to look for. I should have read the description closer. The seat and back seem very well made, but the wheels feel like plastic instead of rubber. Yet, I can dent the plastic with my fingernail. They may be rubber but they look shiny like plastic. The spokes are plastic but the manual hand wheel is metal. Overall, it should work for our temporary needs, but this wheelchair overall doesn't feel quite as sturdy as the ones I've sat in in hospitals.

Defective chair & I'M SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING!!!

Left brake does not engage. Company did not respond to my request that they pau the return shipping for THEIR defective equipment!!!

It is not too heavy and the leg support works well. The wheels need to be backed on to a steep ridge (anything higher than 2 inches) Good value for the price
