A REAL WINNER

I have several significant allergies, one of which requires me to avoid any scent/fragrance related products. This includes beauty products, cleaning supplies, and personal products. This hand wash is a winner from the first touch. It has a silky, creamy, silk like feel and does not dry out your hands. The most important factor to me is it does not trigger an allergic reaction. I am 100% more than satisfied.

Did the formula change???

I like this hand soap but I would like to know why my last order the appearance of the soap is different? It is opaque instead of clear or transparent. Did the formula change...and, if so...maybe Seventh Generation should let the customers know of this change? As of right now I'm not using this soap until I know it is authentic. The tops of the soap were not sealed with tape like they usually are...and the pumps were screwed on loosely...and leaked. Please advise on Amazon what the deal is with the way this soap looks. Thanks.

Yes, it is Fragrance Free but it does have a soap odor

It's soap with no added fragrance. What does it smell like. Like soap - mild smelling soap. Why does it have an odor? Because most everything has an odor - including soap.

Powerful soap

I was purchasing Softsoap for my household liquid hand soap, but I was finding it difficult to find so decided to try a different product. I've been enjoying this soap quite a bit and will continue to stick with it. For cleaning it does an excellent job. The soap stays on the hand when initially scrubbing, foams well, and does an outstanding job of cleaning off dirt, grease and grind. Rinses clean and does not leave a scent on the hands. For an unscented soap though, it does have a strange smell. It's not strong, but it is not 100% unscented. I don't find it too appealing at first but I've gotten used to it over the many months of using this soap. But as I stated once the hands are rinsed off there is no remaining scent on my hands. And because of how well this soap cleans and feels on my hands, I'm more than willing to put up with the slightly annoying scent.

Unscented, powerful, and gentle on your skin

I have purchased this product for quite some time. We have people in our family and in our office who are sensitive to scents and to additives, so I purchase it for both. This soap is unscented with no underlying chemical smell. It is very effective in removing grime and grease on your hands, and even those with very sensitive skin have been able to use this soap with minimal side effects. We love it and will continue using it at home and at the office.
