Very light weight

Comfortable but not too bulky

These were comfortable for wearing during a cruise and I like the fact that they are not too thick and are easier to pack. More of them for the first time during the cruise and no blisters or sore spots. I’ve only had for about a week and a half and no issues with material thus far.

1st pair lasted a year, 2nd pair lasted 6 months.

1st pair lasted little over year, 2nd pair lasted 6 months. The first one had the strap break. The 2nd one had the glue that helps hold the side give. Picture attached. Generally like the shoes, but considering I'm just walking around in them, expect them to last longer.

Just didn't work with my feet. That has never been a problem for me.

Yeah, a couple of things I didn't like about these: 1. The straps didn't pull tight enough to keep the sandals tight to my feet. I have thin feet, but they've never been outside the adjustable range of anything. 2. The arch is quite big and not comfortable for me at all. Seems like a well-constructed sandal though. If you like aggressive arches and have at least normally thick feet, give em a try.

Great arch support, lame straps

I have pronating flat feet, a little arthritis in my great toe MTP joints and Morton's neuromas. These have fantastic strong but cushioned arch supports and let me walk a long time without suffering. My heel lands a little lower than the arch so the ball of my foot and my toes take a lot less of the load, which keeps the problem areas from hurting. My main complaint is the weird, thin, ribbon-like straps that are all one piece kind of like a single shoelace holding them onto your foot. The strap loosens as you walk so you have to tighten it about every 5 to 10 minutes and depending on your age and agility that may be an effort. Most strap sandals have a toe strap and a separate ankle strap that don't interact with each other but this sandal just has one z-shaped strap that moves around a lot. I wish I could combine this great sole with a normal, comfortable strap arrangement.

Save up the $33 difference, it’s worth it.

They are amazing, to the degree that it’s worth saving up to cover the $32-39 difference for the upgrade.

Love them

I wore these for a few weeks straight while travelling. Never had any problems, they got more comfortable over time like a cork sandal might. Probably will purchase another in a different color.

Nicely contoured footbed, but narrower than Z/1

I had 2 pair of Z/1s, M10 and M10 wide. Compared to even the normal M10, these M10s are significantly narrower. Not suitable for those with wide feet. They are significantly lighter than Z/1s though, and the strap systems has its own pros and cons: Pro: allow heel strap length adjustments Cons: shifts around too much, likely need to use thread and needle to fix the lengths once finished adjusting. Outsole is of a design more suitable for indoor use, which I guess are the purpose of Lowdown.

Las recomiendo

Son mis primeras sandalias de esta marca, me gustaron mucho. Buen soporte para el arco y buen agarre con el suelo. Tienen una forma particular de ajustarse a la que me costo un poco acostumbrarme, pero después se vuelve muy fácil.

かかとが低い、土踏まずがもりあがっている。

テバハリケーンとの比較、縦も横も小さめ、特に横幅が狭い。かかとの低さと土踏まずの高さは好みの問題。個人的には土踏まずの空間は土踏まずというくらいなので空いていてほしかった。そこは何も触れてないほうが、人間として自然な感じがする。欠点は足底の面がグリッド状になっているので、あかがたまりやすく臭くなりやすい。ソールはハリケーンよりもぐちゃっとしてるので歩きやすいかも。

小さめのサイズ感？

テバのハリケーンを愛用していましたが、ベロクロが一年でへたったのと、ベロクロやかかとのクッション部が保水するため濡れた後が面倒ということで、別のメーカのものを試そうと思いこちらを購入しました。最初に履いて思ったのは、テバに比べて少し小さいです。普段26(us8)で、テバもus8でぴったりでしたが、チャコはus8では少し窮屈でした。(画像は左がテバのハリケーン、右がチャコのローダウン) 次買う時はハーフサイズ大きめにしようと思います。また、ストラップにあまり余裕がないので甲高の人は注意が必要かもしれません。全体的にコンパクトでミニマルな印象です。 z1などの定番に比べ薄くて軽いので街歩きにも使いやすく気に入りました。

脱げにくいサンダル

今まで安物のサンダルを履いてたのですが、思い切って購入。サイズは表記通りを買うと丁度いいと思います。履きやすく、脱げにくい為気に入りました。
