Leather not good quality, fit is odd, smell like chemicals
These were almost exactly what I was looking for. But when I got them, the fit (wide width) was perfect in the toe area, but way too wide through the rest of the foot, gaping at both sides. The leather in these aren't what you'd expect from Italian-made shoes. It's flimsy, but worse, I could have sworn it was synthetic. It doesn't feel like leather or have that leather scent; in fact, there's a distinct chemically smell to these. It almost looks like there's a thin layer of leather bonded between two synthetic ones; not saying this is so, but just that it looks like it under magnification. Sole is described as rubber, but it's hard, textured plastic. Sadly, have to return these.
