Our dogs spend a lot of time outside roaming and hunting on our farm. Occasionally they run into trouble with a skunk. We have tried pretty much every home remedy without a great deal of success. Then my mother-in-law suggested this product, and you know what, it simply works! It also really helps when they roll in cow manure or horse manure. It is a product that we have found to be the best at a tough job!

worth every penny
This is the third time in 7 years we have used this on our dogs. Wow were we glad we had it. We used it on our shelter who had a lot of thick fur. Two washings and he smelled fresh as a daisy We just used it on our standard poodle last week. Two warnings immediately and he smells fresh as a daisy. He was sprayed directly in the face. Poor boy. Since we used the balance of our 10year old bottle we relaced it with what we knew that works. Why try something else. This is worth every penny to keep on hand with those of us who live in the country.

Amazing smell. The smell reminds me of hair salon. I would tell anyone who has a dog/cat that likes to get sprayed by a skunk to use this stuff. I however do not like that the bottle is so little and the lid did fall apart on me after the first use.

Removes skunk and other bad odors fast
I have a dog who rolls in dead animal carcasses and greasy bear feces. He also ends up on the wrong end of skunks. This shampoo is a godsend. I comb out the heavy debris and then wet his fur down with a hose and suds him up with Skunk Odor Shampoo. I let the shampoo sit in his fur for a minute or two while I ask him not to shake and when I rinse, the horrible smells are gone and he is once again nice to be near. I also wash his collar and orange vest in the shampoo. I highly recommend this product. It also makes his white ruff snowy white.

It did a fairly good job, bit O had to wash my dog 3 times. Let it sit on her about 10 minutes each time before rinsing. Its been a month and I still smell it faintly if she gets wet.

The best skunk smell remorer
This stuff is Great. I have 2 small dogs that have bee sprayed 3 times this summer. Used this for the first time last night. Just before I was going to bed. Amazing no skunk smell at all,. and nothing this morning. I plan to keep this on hand at all times.

This was hard to use around my dogs eyes.
My dog got some skunk on his muzzle and cheeks. It was difficult to wash it off due to the proximity of his eyes. It helped but I could still smell it though.
