Makes a Beautiful Lamp Exceptional

I have three of these beautiful shades, bought at different times, each one for a different antique lamp. It took a lot to convince me that the high price was worth it and indeed I had to save up. The transformation was extraordinary. I had no idea my lamps were so exceptional. It's worth it to take the time to study the specs for correct sizing and geek out on color (I usually go with off-white, but the pale gold made the gold etching on my lamp flow).

Good Quality at an Expensive Price

Found a comparable shade for a much lower price. Returned this one.

Nice shades

These are nicely made shades and I really like the shape. They are a bell shaped but have a little more wave to them at the bottom instead of just straight all the way around. I had ordered the eggshell and they were a little too beige so I went with the white and they are more of an off-white than bright white.

not the shades you buy at a big box store

I have a pair of beautiful antique lamps and I wanted shades that would complement the lamps. The quality of these shades is obvious. There are many styles, sizes, and colors to choose from. If you have a beatiful lamp buy it a beautiful shade. I really does make a difference. Just dont do what I did and order two pair when you only need one. Returning the extras is not as easy, no dropping off at Kohls etc, as other A items

Beware Charge to Return

Was too small for my lamps. Make sure lamp shades are an accurate size for your lamp. Company charges for returns.

Scallop lamp shades

I've never ordered lamp shades on-line before and spent a lot of time measuring and re-measuring, comparing the different tops and how those would make a difference to how it looked on the lamp. But I was VERY pleased with this shade. Purchased them to be applied to smoked glass lamps, and they look lovely! The construction of the shade is very well done, the spines, and top are solid and there is an inner lining of off white, that makes them a very elegant addition to our living room. I would recommend these shades. Nothing is cheap in this day, but these are well worth the money.
