Awesome costume. Found a way to keep the glitter ON the mask!

This costume is amazing! My 5 year old absolutely loves it and has been wearing it almost non stop since she received it. After reading all of the complaints about the mask, I decided to apply some Mod Podge (buy at a big box retailer or craft store) to it. I let it dry overnight and it has been perfect since then. Absolutely NO glitter is falling off of the mask. You can also use a spray acrylic to keep the glitter on, but I opted for the Mod Podge since it is nontoxic. Just as a reference for anyone trying to decide between the small and the medium: I bought a medium for my 5 year old that is 42 inches and 36 lbs knowing that it will be big on her. It is definitely big on her, but not so much that it is bothersome in any way. The dress goes down to her knees (maybe a little below) and the top part is not tight fitting, as it is in the stock photo. The gauntlets are also really big on her arms, but she wears them without any problem. I prefer buying costumes that are a bit big so that they last longer, but if you need one that fits well, the sizing chart is probably pretty accurate.

Beware the glitter mask!

My daughter was so excited to get this costume! It's surprisingly well made, and we've had no issue with the stitching. The fabric is a little rough, and doesn't quite look like the picture (the tutu is not very full or puffy and the shirt is not contoured). It's still cute. My main complaint is the mask. Also very cute, but the glitter gets EVERYWHERE. When my daughter took the mask off, she had a little duplicate glitter mask still on her face, that's how much came off. It got in her eyes and she started screaming. Added to that, the glitter is sticky, possibly from coming off the mask, and took forever to flush out of her eye and scrub off of her face. The next day, after the scrubbing and then her shower, there was still glitter on her face. Very cute costume, but I'd recommend caution with the mask....

Made a Five Year Old Little Girl Very Happy

The mask is as covered with loose glitter as others have said, but I can't complain as I read the reviews. There are no real Flash bolts on the mask, so my girlfriend is going to fashion some for the mask before we head to the local ComicCon. I have to give the costume four stars as the five year old who selected it lit up like it was Christmas when she put it on. So money well spent.

Adorable but MESSY!

I bought this for my 5 year old's birthday...she is a huge fan of kid flash and the flash. I bought the medium and it was a perfect fit. She LOVES it and wore it all day today...and there is red glitter EVERYWHERE!! I think it is all coming from the mall...she put it on and then took it off a few minutes later and had a ring of red glitter around her face, nose, and eyes. She didn't wear the mask all day, but had it on for at least an hour or 2 today, and she is covered from head to toe...glitter everywhere. The mask itself already had huge chunks of where the glittery stuff had completely come off and just red plastic showing through. So...unhappy with the mask, and the fact that I now how to go find some red glitter glue to recover the mask after 1 day. My daughter could care less about all the glitter everywhere and loves this costume!!! She is bummed about the mask too..

Fits great!

Costume was perfect! My daughter wears a 6x and I purchased the Medium. Fit perfectly. She wore red pants and red long sleeve shirt underneath for better comfort and warmth. The glitter mask does NOT shed glitter at all.

Great costume! My 5 year old (purchased the Medium ...

Great costume! My 5 year old (purchased the Medium and it fits perfectly) loves it. I purchased a spray ahead of time to keep the sparkle on the mask but you know what? The sparkles do not come off! Even when I brush the masks aggressively with my hand, they stay in place. The mask is also hard plastic which is a welcomed change from most Halloween masks. Bravo, Rubies! 5 Stars.
