Fit

The material nylon heavy weight comfrontable. I am 5'8.5 tall 196 lbs. Order , 16 perfect. Where the seems are in the front be above the breast to the neckline so seems so terrible wrinkles. I even tried to press it and I can't press them out so the dress will be returned.

Alex Evening Wear Dress

The dress was stunning! Its was very flattering to my figure and I loved the brooch on my left side which gave the dress a sophisticated look. V line neck was flattering and not too low cut to expose cleavage. I loved the bell sleeves and rounded edges of the dress.

Stretchy and flattering

To me this deep teal is more like evergreen. It is not teal. But it is still a lovely color. The dress is stretchy but not so much that it looks sloppy. I am 5'5 with a 34 in waist 180 lbs and regularly wear a 14 so it fit well . The edges are not finished which may turn some off, but I think it looks fine. I read someone said it reminded them of swimsuit fabric, and that's not a lie. But interestingly in this silhouette the draping of the fabric is wonderful. Good purchase for me for a wedding in MN in October.

Arrived with deep wrinkles & a shattered hanger. Horrible presentation

Amazon is NOT the place to buy clothing. I think that this dress would have to go to the cleaners to get out the deep creases. It arrived in a plastic envelope, with the dress wadded up inside. Now I see why others talk about the horrible presentation of dresses shipped in bags. The dress itself would look good if your bust fits it properly, because it's got very defined shaping up there. Otherwise, it would be hard to alter. But do yourself a favor & see if you can find it online from one of your favorite department stores. Also, I think the material would be very hot so it isn't appropriate for a summer event.

Very flattering!!

The color is gorgeous. The fabric is nice and thick enough to hide imperfections, but good and stretchy. Doesn't wrinkle. Great for traveling to an event.

Quality Made, Flattering Style....

Fit: I normally wear a size 12, but I wanted to be sure it wasn’t too tight so I ordered a 14. The 14 gave me a little extra wiggle room in the hips and the bust which is comfortable. If you are in between sizes I’d suggest ordering a size up. The body of the dress is a heavier fabric with a little stretch to it for comfort. The bell sleeves are a lighter weight material (which is good and not hot) and they aren’t tight for my large arms. The dress fell right below my knees (I’m 5’5”) which is exactly what I wanted. Pretty v neck on back isn’t too low, and the fabric is forgiving for back fat and mid life abdominal bulge. The ruching at the waist is flattering and slimming - finishing with a rhinestone embellishment at the hip. Thought I could take it off but it is tightly sewn in & don’t dare try (without it, you could wear this to work). Love the deep purple color - looks rich and goes well with my blond hair. Stylish, quality feel and look. Love it!!! Will try to add a photo...

Great dress fits perfect.

Sizing was exact. I ordered size I usually wear and fit perfectly. Rich Color and does not like like a cheap dress.

Unusual fabric

The fabric is probably suitable for a theatre costume or for a swim suite, definitely not for an occasion dress.
