Easily Did What It Is Suppose To Do

Great machine!! I used for both letter and legal size lamination and the machine did great!!! I even hole punched the sheets with my 3 hole puncher to hang and I had no problems with the thickness of the lamination to punch my holes!!!

Ironed them together

My wife ironed two sheets with a 8 x 11 inch paper between them, it came out perfect. First try iron was too hot, second try with a cooler iron it looks like a factory job.

Definitely worth it if you have a big tank

I am happy I took the plunge and got a siphon with a longer hose to clean my 55 gallon tank. I only use it for emptying the tank when cleaning it- I put the hose out my front door. But, It comes with an adapter to hook it up to the sink to refill your tank which I haven't used. I'm nervous to put straight sink water into my tank that has not been treated. This is the best price I could find on a siphon with the long hose at the time that I purchased It. It was well worth it and I can see it lasting several years.

Great product!

I used these to laminate some cards at home, and they were exactly as described and work great. They held together well and even after moderate use (I made them about a month ago) they seem to be in perfect condition. I actually used an iron to make the cards and it worked really well. They weren't as perfect as a laminating machine, but they came out pretty smooth. Just out them inside a blank t-shirt and move the iron in top for about 20 seconds. It took longer than I thought, but I used constant motion to keep it from burning. The cards turned out very sturdy, I would highly recommend these sheets.

Thicker than 3 mil? Where are the specs?

Compared with Royal Sovereign 3 mil thick pouches, these Scotch ones do not come out as nicely in my laminator. The Scotch ones seem thicker, warp easily, and create occasional micro-bubbles (and sometimes larger bubbles near the edges). On the Scotch product box, there is no specification for thickness, and my guess is they are thicker than 3 mil. I realize the Scotch product page indicates 3 mil thick, but the spec is nowhere on the box. Thicker might work better for a smaller business card, but for letter size laminating, the result is thick enough for a placemat. I wouldn't mind making placemats using the Scotch pouches, but the micro-bubbles bother me. Maybe my laminator is just lower quality, but the thinner Royal Sover (Sovereign) ones come out perfect every time.
