It does the job and holds up well

I've been using it for a few weeks and I can say it works. You get it wet, but not dripping wet, and the evaporation of the water keeps you cool. Its not magic, but it helps on a hot day. It also keeps the sun off your neck. It works best when there is a breeze. The hotter the day or the stronger the breeze, the more often you will have to re-wet it. It doesn't work as well when it is very humid for obvious reasons. The 'up to three hours' claim is malarkey, though. Pure marketing hogwash. Under normal usage on a 90+ degree day with a light breeze I have to wet it 2-4 times an hour. So, you get 15 to 20 minutes of cooling before it diminishes. If you get it dripping wet it lasts longer but then it soaks through your shirt or drips onto things. Does it get stinky? Oh yeah, but no worse that the the headbands I wear at the same time. Again, its not magic. It is microfiber cloth. Like anything else, it starts to stink after absorbing your sweat and being next to your skin while you've been working on a hot day. I throw it in the laundry and it comes out smelling fresh. If you are between launderings I have found a quick cleaning in the sink with some hand or dish soap gets ride of the worst of it. Can't live without it

We live and work in Arizona in the summer time temperatures can be 118 outside...they help to keep you cool... they really do work.

Cools you off for 5 minutes.

This does cool you off, but after about five minutes, it just holds the heat on your neck and makes me hotter.

Disappointing

Purchased to wear while I'm gardening so I don't get overheated in the blazing sun. To my disappointment, It's like a wet towel around my neck, leaving me with a wet shirt. Although the fabric is soft, it's not very pleasant to use when I'm not perspiring greatly.

Excellent quality

Excellent product. Keeps you fresh without getting wet. Perfect companion for exercise routines, warm days at the beach or hikes. It helps to bring your body temperature down when you need it the most. Easy to use, get it wet move it around so it gets cold and then applied it to your skin. Durable product and does not smell! Really recommend it.

Seems cooling, bought due to reviews

Material seems thick and likely because of its absorptive ability. Bought due to numerous positive reviews and got another brand to compare differences. In Singapore the weather can reach up to 36degC (96F) which makes outdoor exercise quite the killer.

Neck cooler

I was hoping it would feel colder to wrap around my head, but it keeps cool for a while around my neck. Very soft and comfortable, dries quickly.

Actually works good. Was a little surprised that it did. Wish it was a little wider of a towel though.
