now that I have worn these for a few months I feel I can write a more accurate review. My only real complaint is that the Velcro straps stop short of being as adjustable as I would like. I do not know if getting a narrower shoe would help with that. When I first put them on they were quite snug, but now have adjusted to my feet and it would be nice to not have such a big overhang on the Velcro sticking out when I snug them up. They are very comfortable with my arch supports though and I would purchase another pair

Didn't work
Looking for a shoe with Velcro enclosure and stable for my mom. She is at risk for falling. These were so clunky and large she didn't even want to try them on. Not only wide base, very tall from base to top of toe. Made me think of combat boots. Not very attractive for ladies.

Great shoe for my elderly mother
Great shoe for my elderly mother. Very stable shoe so she doesn't feel like she might lose her balance. Had to purchase a shoe that is wider than her regular shoe in order to fit properly. Comfortable shoe and my mother is very happy with them.
