It fits
I can never tell who made my drains. I've installed new faucets without swapping out the drain that comes with some of them. So I don't know which replacement to get. What drives me nuts is the fact that there are no measurements that accompany the product. Therefore, to those who don't know who made their drain I'll give the measurements of this product so you have something to go by. The steel rod is - 3/16" wide. The short part of the rod (from the end of the rod up to the ball) is - 1 25/64" (or 1/64" more than 1 3/8"). The ball is - 39/64" (or 1/64" more than 5/8"). The long part of the rod (from the end of the rod up to the ball) is 4 37/64 (or 1/64" less than 4 9/16"). To put this in a less confusing way - roughly - the short part of the rod is 1 3/8; the ball is 5/8" wide - and the long part of the rod is 4 9/16" long. I hope this helps. If there's a better way of presenting this feel free to copy this data and format it in a more presentable way. Although this pivot rod has all the right dimensions for my needs the ball is not exactly round so when you open or close the drain you feel that unevenness. It works though, so I'm okay with it.

Excellent replacement pop-up rod
An exact replacement for a builder grade pop-up ball joint rod at a very affordable price. For the price of ONE at the local store, I can replace all 4 in my two, double lavatory sinks. The ball is 15mm/.59 inches and the rod projects 1.4 inches from the ball. Originally, like others have mentioned, I thought the rod was too long as it initially rubbed against the tail pipe. thinking I might have to cut/grind it down, upon taking it out again, I realized that when putting it on, the inside plastic seal had fallen off. Once replaced, it fits/operates perfectly. Note that it comes with TWO plastic seals. One should be placed on each side of the ball to seal and provide smooth operation of the ball.

Sink stopper rod
Works well with my Moen faucet.. as long it's not more than a 6" rod needed, this will work. Easy to install and the forget about it... Just like OEM parts...

Not what I wanted, but works
I ordered this based on answers to questions and reviews. I was expecting a 5/8 in bench ball, but as you can see in the photo it is about 1/2 in. I'm not sure how long the part that sticks into the sink and pops up the stopper on the old piece was, but with the new unit the plunger seems to pop off easily. Despite the ball being a smaller size, I put the plastic washers in front of and behind the ball and tightened the nut as much as possible. It doesn't look pretty, but so far no leaks. I measured the old plastic nut to approximate the correct size, the metal one with this was a bit smaller. On closer inspection, the old plastic washers was too small as well, probably why it broke when I tried tightening it.

Ball is 15mm, worked perfect for me.
I am not sure what brand my drain is as it is quite old. The drain appears to be galvanized metal. It was so old that the rod completely rusted out and fell off. I had to extract the ball washers and the ball. Luckily a reviewer mentioned that the ball is 15mm. It is amazing to me that of all of the similar products, the ball diameter is not even listed! Hello!? The brass nut also fit my setup as well. Anyway this worked out perfect for me and I am happy.

no leaks
Used as replacement parts for a single handle centre set peerless faucet. No issues with fit or leakage, and now the stopper works again.

The lift rod is fixed with this kit
As you can see, the dia of the rod is little smaller than the original one, so is the pivot ball. But finally it seems working well with the two washers provided. Also I used the original plastic nut instead of the slim metal one. I fixed my lift rod with ~$7 so I am happy with it.
