Handle crank slipping

The window operator fit fine in the 50 + year old windows. The window crank not so good. Either the splines in the handle crank itself was not cut deep enough, or the spline on the window operator wasn't cut deep enough. No mater where you position the handle crank and tighten the set screw the handle still slips when trying to open or close the window. They need to have a better and tighter fit or its going to need replacing very soon.
