Great product, only lacking 1 feature
Bought this to replace the older, flat model from GE, and so far, I'm liking it. Gives more room in a bathroom that only has 1 outlet. My only negative/gripe is it doesn't have the screw hole with a long screw for more stability in the faceplate. I hope in the next version, GE decides to return that feature, as it's very useful and helpful. Aside from that, very pleased with it so far!

GREAT GE Product
I wanted a way to leave more than 2 items plugged in at the same time though I only use one product at a time. Moreover, I wanted a brand that I could trust. GE was the first name that came to mind, and after quite a bit of searching on Amazon, I found it. This multi-plug outlet is great! While one could plug 6 items into it at once, one would need to be careful a out overloading the circuit by running too many things at one time. However, if one is begin sensible, this is a GREAT product that allows for wise use of a small space, and it keeps one from wearing out wall plugs by continually plugging in and unplugging appliances. I have five appliances in the bathroom that use electricity (a toothbrush, a waterflosser, a nasal decongester, a diffuser, and a clothes spinner). It is irritating to have to choose the right plug each time I want to use one. With GE's 6-plug adapter, I can keep all of them plugged in, and use each product when I need it. I implicitly trust GE products and did not want to buy something branded with a name I did not know. This product works perfectly.

Not exactly as pictured
I bought this to use as a fixed surge protector assuming (danger, danger) that it would fit in the lower outlet. My outlets are split with the top receptacle on a light switch and the lower wired directly to the panel. My thought was to connect a wall mounted surge protector only to the lower panel. I didn't realize that there is a peg that essentially fits into the lower ground while the surge protector fits into the upper. I only use the upper receptacle for lamps and the lower for devices. Adding this surge protector will simply put everything on the wall switch which will not work. A picture of the back and maybe a line or two about installation would help. While I'm at it, the packaging is atrocious and downright dangerous to open. It reminds me of those plastic encased CD's in the 80's and 90's. Somebody needs to figure out how to get these things open without have to use a knife or box cutter and risk a trip to the emergency room to get a hand or finger stitched up. A perforated pull strip or simply a dotted line that can be cut with scissors would be nice.

Good wall outlet
This is a review of the four outlet / four USB model. We have a lot of items that get plugged in in our family room and needed more outlets. This is much cleaner than a powerstrip as it easily plugged in to the existing outlet and gave us four outlets plus room for four USB devices. While this doesn't charge our Samsung phones as quickly as the OEM quick charger, it's good enough and takes only a bit longer to charge. I'm using this on a horizontal outlet and haven't had any issues with it staying put. There's a lot of similar items on the market, but most seemed pretty poor quality and lacked certifications. This seemed to be fairly good quality and is UL listed. I understand that this will only handle one surge, but many of the others I saw looked like they couldn't even handle that. If this were to die, I would probably replace it with the same one.

Awesome surge protectors
These surge protectors blend in nicely when they're plugged in. I like that the outlets are spaced out so that large power adapters don't prevent you from plugging in other things. They're fairly secure when plugged in, but they do gradually get loosened over time; you just have to remember to hold the surge protector in place when you unplug something. That's not a big deal to me; they're still great surge protectors.

It melted
Not sure but within a year of using it, one night it just melted and there was a black hole at the back. Unfortunately, I threw the photo. I am disappointed that it worked less than a year.
