Amazing customer service

I bought a returned version of this light, it did not include the mounting bracket which is very important unless you want to rig up something custom. I contacted Vidalite customer service and they sent me a new light, this was not their responsibility but they did it anyway- AMAZING SERVICE!

Nice light on the eyes!

The only bad about this was one of the lights we ordered was not put together correctly. Once we figured it out they are nice light for the price!

Nice but buzzes

Like the looks. Lights up a small loft (5x10) office. Used with a wall dimmer and professionally installed. Makes a consistent buzzing sound that may irritate some people. Perhaps I need a new dimmer switch.

OK till they go wrong, then there's no fix

I bought three of these originally for an apartment remodel. One arrived broken; I was in a time pinch, so I repaired it myself. Not so good. Anyway, they've been in for less than a year, and one of the units has failed, blinking on occasionally. That's a typical power supply problem. I went to find a replacement LED lighting supply (110Vac to 18-40 Vdc) but its an odd brand, NOVBO that is seemingly unavailable anywhere, and the specs seem odd to shoot for another brand. Now I've had to order a whole new track light to match the other two with a tenant to please. So I'm a regular customer of Vidalite. Not a happy customer, but a regular one. Next time I'm going to get units that can be repaired.

Nice looking fixture

I like this fixture. It was installed easily. My only dislike is that it's quite bright and it's really like 4 spot lights. This is supposed to be dimmable, but I guess my switch box does not accommoate that. Otherwise, it's great, and seems to be a good value for the money. It looks sharp, and I really like the brass/gold accent inside the cans. I find it hilarious that one of the things it wants me to rate is "suction power". This light fixture has zero suction power. :D

Should have just made it not dimmable

This works for our space, but as listed in the description, it does have a hum/buzz when dimmed, and it’s very noticeable. I use the dimmed feature in the morning so it’s not blinding light, but ultimately it sounds like a dated product and I’ll be changing it when we fully redo the room. The white outer and gold inner styles are nice though.

No suction power but great light!

Not sure what the suction power rating is for, but the light is fantastic. Well built, easy to install, gives off a beautiful spotlight!
