Heigth was perfect.
I needed a longer adapter to bring the blade down a bit. This worked, although I did have to enlarge the center hole to 7/16". And had to machine some of the keyway to allow it to slide onto my Briggs & Stratton crank keyway.

Can't honestly say, wish it was in stock so I could try again.
I'm giving an in the middle review, because I honestly don't know if it was a good product or not... The two little nipples/protrusions on the wings wore down about halfway through the front yard on the first mow with it... But I don't THINK that it was the adapters fault, I think I had a lawnmower blade that was faulty and wore them down because the hole in the blade didn't match up with the adapters bowtie center pattern. So I can't give it a bad review or a good review... It might even be more fair to not review it at all, but I'm in the habit of reviewing the products I buy...

It took two tries to get the right part. The first one said it was for MTD mowers after 97. It didn't mention that there were exceptions

Fit my mower to replace the original part that broke. Would have been good to include installation instructions, but it was easy enough.

fit perfetlly but key for shaft slot broke
Its frustrating that Troy-bilt has two different blade adapter sizes with same part number. After failing to get proper part from OEM supplier I got his one. It did fit but as others have noted, the quality is poor. In my case the key for the slot in the shaft sheared off after 30 min of mowing. I had been using the old broken part with Permatex thread locker red. It worked fine for mowing but required heating with a propane torch to remove the blade for sharpening. Guess I'll try the blue version. Will not buy another part from this supplier.

worked out ok in the end, but i had to drill it out before the bolt would line up. no vibration when the engine is running.
