Cracked lens

I only buy Persol glasses, i was wearing these the other day, had them less than a year, took them off to clean them , when i went to put them back on, they're was along crack in one of the lenses. I have never seen that happen before. Truly bizarre. I have 4 pairs of persols and this is disappointing

These are great glasses for a great price. They’re hand made in Italy with a nice balance when on. It’s actually hard to notice when they’re on my face, they’re so comfortable!

Likely genuine, more likely refurbished.

While I believe this pair of sunglasses (Cobalto frame, gradient grey lenses) to be genuine Persol, it is most certainly NOT "new" merchandise, and is most likely a refurbished item. The way the box is embarrassingly held together with packing tape is the first clear indication of this. The acetate frames do have the right feel and flexibility, and the lenses pass the "tap" test for glass. Other details like the silver arrow alignment and Meflecto cylinders also check out, but there is clearly something amiss where the temple hinges meet the earstems (see pictures). In addition to the unpolished roughness of the inner curves, it very much has the appearance of the "burn" that certain adhesives can have on plastics, and it won't wash away. There was also some form of chemical residue all over the frame, but it did wash away with mild soap. For the price, I suppose it's a fair tradeoff. You're not going to save $100 on a pair of designer sunglasses without a good reason, and I think "refurbished" helps explain why there are so many satisfied reviews here as well as so many that believe they received fakes.

Nice - But Previously Owned

I bought two pair and I like these glasses a lot and got a good price. Only downside - clearly they were returned by someone as they seemed to have been fitted to another person's face first - guess that's why they were on sale. I'm keeping them.

Hail to the king, baby

Being a huge fan of Bruce Campbell I recently started rewatching Burn Notice, thanks to Prime, and I noticed Bruce wearing these sunglasses so I had to get a pair for myself and I love them. I did not expect to wear these every day since I have a pair of wayfarers that fit my face perfectly. These are polarized and beautifully block the sun and come with a great sturdy case with an awesome, oversized cleaning cloth(pay attention rayban) they also feel very well built. There is one drawback to these shades, they fit kind of loose on my face but I'm sure that can be fixed with a little adjustment

Still my favorite sunglasses

I'm a bit of a sunglasses whore. I've owned several pairs from nearly every major brand (Oakley, Rayban, Costa, Maui jim, gatorz, Native, Smith, etc). Persols just have a special place in my heart. They strut the line of performance and luxury style that difficult to achieve. This was my first pair from them many years ago (in black) that I absolutely wore out. Was very happy to see them on prime days and put them back in my rotation. I had forgotten how much I loved them. If you're on the fence, just get them. You won't regret it.

Great Sunglasses at a good price

I had a pair of this model and they broke (my fault). I tried on many different pairs but found I wanted these again. They were about $150 more at a local retailer. The loss of a star is as a result of two things. One, they came in a cardboard case instead of a nice case like I would have received from the retailer. Secondly, one arm is ever-so-slightly misaligned (higher than the other by a couple of mm) and that could be adjusted in a store. I guess that hands on service and adjustment capability is the price you pay for ordering online. The product itself is great. They are quality sunglasses.

Unos auténticos estafadores

Compre estas gafas hará unos tres meses. Vinieron de fabrica con un pequeño punto en la montura, un defecto de fabricación, que al ir por la parte interior y debido al precio, no me importó demasiado. En tres meses dicho agujero ha derivado en una fractura en la montura con lo que me he quedado sin gafas. Al explicar el problema al comprador su único mensaje ha sido, que ellos no se hacen cargo de roturas por mal uso. Unos verdaderos sinvergüenzas.
