Imaginative play
My kids love these figures! We found them for the first time while visiting Medieval Times and they have started a collection. My kids are 6 and 11 so finding toys they both find interesting (and not electronic) can be challenging. For their birthdays they each got new figures as well as a Melissa & Doug castle - which are great. We went with the Melissa & Doug brand due to having better reviews than the Papo castle and being more affordable. Although we didn’t know when buying, they can either use them singly or assemble them together to make one big castle (see pic.) The knights all look great standing or on their horses - they don’t bend but they are designed very well to look natural in both positions. Some knights don’t have horses but most have the option to switch shields/weapons from hand to hand, and some come with a third weapon on their back which is interchangeable as well. The mutants are a fun addition. The detail is fantastic and they are durable - I don’t see any of the figures or weapons breaking easily. Some horses can be set up to be running or standing on their hind legs - again not pose-able but designed well enough to look very good in both positions. The only item that fell short was the crossbow/ballista. The rubber band isn’t tight enough to make it shoot well and it’s very difficult to get it to work. My kids use them as props but it would’ve been nice if they were more functional. Overall, we are very happy with these toys. Great figures, great castle!

Great, but not gold
I bought this for a cake topper and the birthday boy was thrilled! He played with it the rest of the party! I rated it a four because it said gold and I would call this more copper in person. Still, it worked out for a golden birthday with a dragon theme.

spitin' out the side of his mouth
This is a pretty nice dragon. We bought it as a cake topper for my son's Hobbit themed birthday. There is a red version, same dragon but red, and perhaps we should have bought that one. Oh well. That's on me. The material is bendy, though I'm nervous of playing too much with that spout of flame. Speaking of the flame, our Smaug is spittin' fire out of the side of his mouth. He's looking straight ahead, and toasting that adventurer in the corner. Tricky dragons. Don't trust them. That's my only beef. Otherwise, as I said. It's a nice looking dragon. Almost looks like a painted woodcarving. The coloring isn't super detail, but doesn't look sloppy. I wouldn't care to run into the real thing. I will update with how long the toy lasts before the flame is ripped off, or otherwise destroyed.

black pegasus really imaginative
The little girl this was purchased for was absolutely delighted. And so was I as I found this not only well made but sturdy enough for her to play with, and she loves to arrange and rearrange and then rearrange this and her other models. Not only that but she was very pleased to find a pegasus that was outside the 'normal' range of shiny white ones. The 'traditional' pegasi are just fine and she has two models of that kind. But still it was a nice surprise when she found this black one. It really sparked her imagination. And I am always glad to add to her collection of models, but even more so when they are as imaginative as this one.

Great toy
Great Pegasus. My son just loves it. It is very sturdy and will last the next few years. The toy looks right. NO imperfections in the plastic or paint job. The face is realistic. Great purchase for us. Update: The children at the Day Care have all had a chance to play with this. It is a huge hit. Perfect for any age.

Waste of space
I am giving this 4 stars only because the head is almost as big as the body, but you cannot put and candy in the head or neck. Waste of space. Other than that the kids LOVED it!!

Cost effective alternative to D&D dragons
Although a toy from a knights and monsters range in it's own right, it actually makes a great dragon miniature for use in Dungeons and Dragons too, and is fraction of the cost

This figures hold their price when reselling
Amazing detail

Good quality but expensive.
I was very reluctant to purchase these for the price, they are far to expensive for a figure that doesn't move. But infairness they have amazing detail and clearly well made as they are heavy and sturdy. The dragon is lovely I brought about 5 individual figures for a castle my dad made for my son and he's very particular about detail. They are very realistic and he loved them. It would be better if there was a pack you could buy instead of individually. I
