So much better

I just gotta start off by saying, these were a win! I have been tapping in capezio tap shoes (around $120 ish) . I was struggling with crisp sounds and my feet weren’t fitting the best in them. I got these, and the oh my gosh! They were everything the others were lacking. More support in back heel up onto ankle. Loved that and the little extra padding. The toes felt lot better and a hint wider . Just better quality for me personally. Better fit, crisper sounds, and I’m able to perform things lot easier. I purchased my normal shoe size because all leather stretches a tad. Didn’t want to end up with way too big of two shoes again.

Surprisingly comfortable

I have long feet with a narrow heel and fully expected to have to try multiple sizes before finding some tap shoes. Also, I grew up with the inflexible shiny ones as a kid, so the fact that these fit so well and flex was amazing. Super comfortable for our Irish dance class. My sister has wider feet and ordered the same shoes in her size and loves them. They’ve been great for us!

Happy Tapping!

I have a very narrow foot and I never get to try anything on where I live because no one carries narrow shoes! Anyway, I researched and asked my Senior Tap teacher for advice and she recommended Bloch Flex style for beginners. The website advised ordering a half size larger but in the flex style, 2 reviewers stated that their regular street size fit perfectly! I took their advice and my 8 N (AA) fit beautifully. I will add an arch pad but I’ve been practicing daily without any rubs or issues at all. Lovely quality and sound.

Split sole! Size UP!

I ordered & returned three pairs of these shoes before finding the right size. Thank goodness for “try before you buy.” My daughter wears a size 4 in kids shoes. I had to order a size 6.5 women’s on this site to get a fit. The shoes are great quality. They run narrow.

Very comfortable and flexible

These are extremely comfortable and soft. No need to wear them in first. Laces are a bit short but it is perfect length so you don’t trip on them while dancing. Ordered my normal running shoe size and they fit perfectly.

Nice Shoes But..

I'm normally a 9.5. Ordered a 10 in these and they are barely tolerable. Toe is right in the end. I have pretty skinny normal feet. Decided to send them back and try the Bloch Chloe. Accidentally ordered my 9.5 size and they are at least a size too small. Sending both back and ordering the Bloch JS in a 10.5. The quality of both shoes however seems pretty good.

Perfect Fit!

I am a beginner tap dancer. I really like this shoe. I ordered my regular street shoe size and they fit perfectly! I even wear socks with them. If I had ordered a 1/2 to 1 size up, they would have been toooo big.

Well made, good fitting tap shoe.

This is a lovely fitting shoe and the split sole allows for greater flexibility of the foot and better connection to the floor than with a traditional hard sole tap shoe.

Buy the size you normally wear! Excellent tap shoe!

The reviews stated to buy a size up if you had bigger feet. My daughter is size l0 ladies so I ordered 11 and they were too big. I then ordered 10.5 and they were still too big. Size 10 fit perfectly :) Amazon was excellent in the return. It was no time at all to get the new ones and little time for the refund of the others. My daughter loved them once I got the correct size.

Fits as expected. Comfortable and flexible

I have discovered that not all Bloch tap shoes fit the same. However, the Tap flex style fits as you would expect it. I wear an 8.5 shoe size, I bought an 8.5N and it's perfect for me. The flexibility of the split sole makes it easier to dance in than a standard tap shoe. No breaking in. Very comfortable. Enough support in the arch for me. Would recommend.

Fit perfectly, I am an 8-8.5 in a regular shoe and the 8.5 was perfect for me. Good arch support and wasn’t hard to break in. Highly recommend!

Great shoe! So comfortable

Great shoe! So comfortable. Some reviews said to order a size or size & a half up from your normal shoe size. I did this and had to return two pairs before purchasing the 7-1/2. Typically I wear either a 7 or 7-1/2 in a fitness/everyday shoe. I needed the 7-1/2 in the tap shoe because my left foot is just about a half size larger than my right. Definitely need appropriate toe room in a tap shoe or you end up with bruised toe nails!!
