We ordered a half size up and they work perfect!
Bought these for my wife who is a dog groomer and they’ve been perfect. She kept coming home with ruined wet uncomfortable shoes and she’s been using these going on a year now and they were truly the perfect shoe for the job. I bought my fancy waterproof adidas for delivering packages around the same time and I must say hers seem to be holding up better! Don’t let the price point fool you these are very well constructed.

I love the theme of the shoes, however they run quite small, and the heel piece on back makes very difficult to put shoes on, thus not the most comfortable shoes would be better and more comfortable as a open back slip on.

Good Garden Shoe - Run a Bit Large
I really like the looks of these, and I feel sure that even in soggy spring gardens they will keep my feet dry. They also seem likely to prevent dirt from sliding down the back of the shoe and under my foot, which is why I retired my old clogs. (Nothing worse than a surprise pebble or gravel under your foot!) These shoes run a bit large, and they slip down the back of my foot. I'm not going a long distance so that's not too big a problem, more of a distraction. I am a little concerned, though, that as the fabric top loosens with age they will become flipflops, and that won't be good at all. But at this point, they're working out ok and I can put up with the slippage at the back if they stay that good.

Very uncomfortable at first
With most shoes you need to "break them in" but after over a month of owning them I still cannot wear them my entire shift. About 30 minutes after putting them on my feet still begin to hurt. I'm a dog groomer so I would love to be able to wear them all day and not need to change back into tennis shoes after every bath. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for them but since I was able to get them as a Amazon returned item and the price was right, I guess they're acceptable.

Great for short walks with my pup!
I love how water resistant these shoes are! I was really tired of putting on wet shoes each time I take my dog out on short potty breaks in the morning or on rainy days. They are comfortable. However, they make a somewhat embarrassing sound each time you step (anyone else?). So, your feet stay dry, but it sounds like you have the walking toots. Totally worth it.

No regrets
These are very comfortable and effective for keeping your feet clean and dry while doing yardwork or gardening. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a little tricky to get in to; the heel tends to fold in and I have a little trouble pulling it out with my big fingers. A shoe horn would come in handy if you wanted to go to the trouble. I wear and ordered a size 9 and once I get into them they fit perfectly.

Best waterproof shoe out there! The recycled materials make it even better!
I wear these as my work shoes at the Humane Society where I have to run dogs up and down the hallways that often are covered with water and cleaning solution, during our morning deep cleans. These shoes are one of the best for slip resistance, even with the cleaning solution on the floors, and they are 100% waterproof! I typically wear size 8 1/2 sneakers, and my feet are slightly wide (sketchers shoes are often my best friend), and I originally ordered a size 9 in these. They fit with thicker socks on, so I use them during the winter time, and re-ordered a size 8 to use during the spring and summer. The size 8s fit like a glove with regular socks on, and are easy enough to slide on and off. I have also been wearing a compression ankle brace (over my sock) on one ankle (because I got a mildankle sprain) and the size 8s still fit really well. The opening is not too tight, and they don't fly off when I am running (literally) with the dogs. I will definitely keep buying these as work shoes. I did replace the slightly firmer insole with a dr.scholls, because I work 10 hour shifts and am literally on my feet the entire time, so I needed more cushion. Other than that, they are perfect for what I use them for, straight out of the box!

Best shoes for taking my dog out in the rain.
This is my second pair of “Slogger’s”! I have to walk my dog because I’m in a townhouse with no fenced in yard. The “Slogger’s” are wonderful because I was ruining my sandals & shoes taking him out in the rain. They are comfortable & keep my feet dry. I have told & shown my friends & neighbor’s the “Slogger’s”and they have been very receptive. One pair, the chickens, to wear when I’m in Florida & the second pair, the dog paw print, to wear when I’m I’m in Pennsylvania. Everyone who sees them ask’s me where I got them & I’m happy to tell them about the “Slogger’s”!!

My daughter is a dog groomer and had been waring sneakers which was not great due to the dirt and water. She said when i purchased them before arrival that she didn’t like them would not ware them. She has worn them every day all day in extreme heat. She states there very comfortable and cant believe she didn’t like them there safe and non slip in wet areas. Steps dropping clippers and scissors she had been protected. Very happy with this product will purchase more soon patterns for dog grooming was good too.

Waterproof and very comfortable
Although this was my first time purchasing Sloggers from Amazon, I've bought at least four additional pairs since discovering them. Several years back when a local store had them on sale, I bought a colorful pair for myself for gardening. And then after finding out how comfortable they are, I bought a second pair in black to wear for running errands on rainy days plus two more pairs that I ended up giving as gifts to friends. The shoes are not only extremely comfortable and wildly practical (how many comfortable shoes are truly watertight?) but they also last a long time: I can't remember precisely when I bought my first pair but it was quite a few years ago and I am still wearing them. My friends are still wearing theirs too.

best garden shoes
I love these garden shoes. This is my second pair, first pair lasted about 10 years. Keep your feet dry in the wet grass and muddy garden. Funky colors and patterns are just an added bonus.

Better than expected
I bought these shoes to wear in wet weather to walk my dogs. The lower back took a bit of getting used to but I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are.
