Great shoes

Makes dance classes so much easier on my knees. Be sure to size up at least a full size.

Not the old style

I've had several pairs of Bloch dance shoes and these don't fit like the others. I know you buy 1 1/2 sizes up from your regular size but these are tight in the toe area, short in length, and the padding in it isn't as good. They need to size in inches not shoe size since they are from China. The shoe does turn well but very uncomfortable. I suggest 2 sizes up.

Super Comfortable even with Injured Foot

I teach kids gymnastics during the day, and I do ballroom dance, work out at the gym and take walks outside as my hobbies. I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for about 8 months. The doctor finally advised me to wear a boot for 6-8 weeks. I'm still recovering and am on week 7 in the boot. I use these type Bloch shoes for dance practice and for my dance workout class. I can't wait to get back to it. In anticipation of dancing again, I purchased these to replace my worn out different style Bloch shoes. I have started to wear them around the house some, when I give my foot a break from the boot. They are SO comfortable, and my feet do not hurt after wearing them. I may buy a 2nd pair just for work. As far as sizing goes. In dance heels, I wear an 8-1/2. In regular heels, I wear a 9. In tennis shoes, I wear a 9-1/2. Per others' recommendations, I purchased both the 10-1/2 and 11 to compare. The 11 was slightly too big. The 10-1/2 fits well. So I would recommend getting whatever size you wear in an athletic tennis shoe.

Love these for Zumba, just wish the sizing was easier to decipher!

I wore these shoes for the first time in my Zumba class last night & what a huge difference it made! I was just sporting a pair of Nikes before and had a hard time with the turns and twists that Zumba requires since my feet kept sticking to the floor. I like the support these offer so far too, I think the split sole not only helps with some of the moves, but also with giving some arch support. So after a one hour long, high tempo class I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing I will say is that the sizing is confusing. I followed what others said here and ordered a size & a half up. I am an 8 1/2 normally so I got the 10. I have a slightly wide foot, which is why I went a size plus a half & not just one size. My toe is in the right place in the shoe, but I do need to lace them quite snugly or they feel a little loose at the heel. Even with that, I think the 9.5 would have been too snug so I'd rather wear a thicker sock & lace tight than have sore toes. (Two sizes up would have been too large!) All in all this a great shoe for Zumba at a great price. I give them a 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Chart contradicts Customer Shoe Size Recommendation

Otherwise nice shoe. Size chart might be correct, but ordering street shoe size recommended on item page after I returned to double check sizing and after I had started a return. Your page reads one thing, but displays another. Confusing.

Absolutely hate the sizing.

My daughter is a size 3 US street shoe. Her Irish dance shoe is a 3.5 UK. We ordered this in a 5 bloch size and it fits? I dont get it. But the shoe is good quality. Fits comfortable.

Watch out for dodgy sites

This product was advertised as the genuine article. It was not!!!!! I received a cheap copy that was also 2 sizes smaller than ordered. My time was wasted and my daughter whose birthday it was, is very disappointment !!!!!! Amazon approved immediate return and I received a refund within a few days. Thank you Amazon!!

Love these dance sneakers!

Love for hip hop class! The spin spot stops my feet from grabbing the floor during turns. I ordered 1.5 size larger than regular running shoes and they fit perfectly. Great for wide feet.

On the small side

Nicely made, but too stiff for my likings. Did not feel comfortable in them. Even though I followed the size chart, they were too tight.
