Rockport sizing explained!

Some say too big some too tight what gives? Rockports in general are made for long, skinny feet. If your foot width is even a little above a C, you'll like the Wide's best. Especially if your foot is wide near the toes. Don't buy anything over your usual minimum size or your feet may slide around lengthwise. If you get the correct width your toes will have plenty of room. The arch is moderate. and set toward the heel. If you really want to buy inserts, buy thin ones. The toe box is long and narrow. I get the best fit leaving a little more room in front of the toe than with any other brand of shoes. These boots were comfortable from day one using the factory inserts. They are lightweight however the steel toe is heavy creating an unusual toe heavy balance to these boots. The grip is rather good on wet surfaces but rather poor on oily surfaces. The construction is solid and similar to any other pair of Rockport boots. They are warm enough to wear outside in moderately cold weather. They have held up very well so far.

Great looking Uncomfortable and heavy.

I found the footbed on these feels really nice and comfortable with like a memory foam cushion. But the steel toe makes these really heavy on the foot. Would have been nice if it was a. O posited toe. Not very happy with how they feel around the ankle pinches sock between the cushion feels uncomfortable.

Feet love them.

Two pair bought so far. Both are still in good condition. It’s been over a year on one pair and they are still comfortable.

good office/shop boot

for those of us who bounce from the office out into the shop, these shoes/boots fit the bill. They look professional when doing business and they have the rugged safety features as well.

Most comfortable work boot

I purchased this for someone who walks about 4-5 miles a day in their job including up and down stairs. He said these were the most comfortable work boot he has ever worn. After wearing the boots for less than a week, his back and knees did not ache as they did with other boots. We will get another pair for him to wear when he is not working because they are a very nice stylish boot.

Weak leather and thread seams.

I am a home repair contractor. I've been wearing these boots happily for about 2 months without needing to do anything that can be rough on boots. Today I did some work where I was moving around on my hands and knees on a brick patio. I later noticed that the toe seam had started pulling apart where they had been rubbing the brick. I expect some wear from this type of use, but I've never had a pair of boots start coming apart so badly after one tough use. I like most things about these boots, but poor leather work will quickly ruin their usefulness. I recommend against these boots if you need durability.

These are great.

Had them almost two months. Very comfortable and fit good. Love the quality and suspect that they will last a long time. Use them hiking with my Chocolate Labrador in the mountains and they feel surefooted with no rubbing or hot spots. Looking at a second pair for work.
