Thicker then I thought

Definitely not a lightweight pant. I was expecting more on a windbreaker lightweight. They were thicker then expected but that was a good thing , considering the cost , but not good for the weather I was expecting to wear them in , they were a little too warm. But I Feel like they’ll last a while. Size was as expected.

Material was terrible. Felt like something parachutes are made of. Not like the picture at all. False advertising at its best. And it has the name Southpole attached to it?? The representation isn't even close to that brand name!

Well made and they fit nice but are so scratchy we barely wear them.

We have several people that wear this type of pants either on the weekend, after changing out of their work clothes, when working from home, etc. and the younger members of the house will often "steal" or better said "borrow with only the best intentions" them from both each other so it's always good to have some extras on weeks when we fall behind on our laundering. We have ordered various pairs of Southpole pants over the years so we decided to try these. They usually have very consistent quality across their product line and are a good alternative to some of the more expensive brands. We reserve the expensive brands for when the younger household members need to wear them to school because kids can be kind of mean about lesser known brands. These pants are a jogger style and fit as described. They have a generous number of pockets which are a nice addition. Unfortunately as far as the material, they are not very comfortable and have a stiff, scratchy feel to them. Because of this we've made them our dedicated "when we have to work on something messy" pants, where if they get something yucky on them or become stained, we won't be heartbroken. Overall, these pants look nice but we would not recommend them based on the stiff and scratchy feeling.

Reminds me of parachute pants from the 80s

Great pants for showing off sneakers! Style is in between sweats and pants.

The media could not be loaded. I am a sneakerhead ... and a bigger guy. I love being able to show off my sneakers but hate walking around in jogger sweatpants. I've been looking at something in between jogger sweats and jeans ... these are a perfect design. As much as I love the design, the fit could be better on me. I would order these again but they wouldn't be my 'go to' pair. First of all, let's talk about sizing. I am a former pro football player and my size is not 'normal' ... I am 6'4 and weight 240 lbs. Not as solid as I was in my 30's but I do lift. I ordered a size XL, which is my typical size for athletic pants or shorts. As you can see, these a little tight on my calves and a tad loose in the thigh. The waist is perfect ... although it has a drawstring closure, I don't need to tighten it much. I'd say the waist on an XL best fits a 36 - 38. The length is a little short on me and does show some ankle. At 6'4 I kind of expected this as jogger pants don't generally have inseams (long, medium, short) and I do notice that most fit on the short side for tall guys, like me. The rear could fit better as the slimmer leg and roomier seat makes my rear look big. I wouldn't wear these on a long plane ride due to the tight calves and the jogger bottom being a bit tight around the ankle. However, for walking around town or short car rides, they are fine. The material is soft and comfortable ... kind of like nylon track pants. It's thick and not extremely breathable, so if you wear these in hotter climates, be aware that they can get sweaty. Love the cargo pockets and also the side hand pockets at the top. Southpole is a brand that was popular in the early-mid 2000s for hip hop and streetwear culture. Maybe it's making a comeback but the logo doesn't really show Southpole, which used to have a circular logo. I would order these again even if they aren't my go to pants. I may even buy a pair in black now. I hope my review, video and pictures is helpful in allowing you to make an informed shopping decision.

Look nice, good fit, but not the best tech material

I 100% love joggers. I especially love tech material because it's easy to clean, look great, and allow a full range of motion so that I can do activities. These joggers look great, and are very fashionable. The quality is very nice, and they were true to fit. The only drawback to these is that they were not your typical tech stretch material. These were more of a hybrid between traditional motion tech, and an almost thicker nylon material. It had way less stretch to them than the rest of the tech joggers I'm used to. Because of this, I found them more uncomfortable, and more restrictive in movement than I'm used to. They are really nice looking, and a really good value. I just think they are a little more rigid than I like in a tech fashion jogger.

No XXL ;(

Really like this brand’s cotton joggers so I was stoked to see a new version that wouldn’t have any pilling so common with regular cotton joggers. I fit XL on their older joggers, but the new ones are too tight for my godly quads. It’s the material of course, but I just wish they had another size up for us big people haha
