Bought these for my fiancé for when he needs to go out.

Comfortable and accurate fit

This review is based on trying the pants on after delivery, but they haven't been worn or washed yet. The pants fit as expected, are soft, and comfortable. They are a good option for smart casual and can be paired with a sports jacket. If you take accurate waist and inseam measurements and purchase a pair that matches your measurements the fit should be accurate. Also "slim" means the pants are contouring, so if you have some extra weight you may want to purchase regular fitting pants.

These are not slim fit

These are advertised as slim fit, with a photo of a model wearing just that - slim fit trousers. However, these are nothing like the photo. They are slim round the ankles, but from there upwards they are like tents, with a mass of material around the thigh and backside. In addition, the material is thin and looks cheap. The sort of thing you'd buy in Primark for about £10. Very poor quality, totally misleading description.
