They have pockets!!!

They have pockets!!!!!! Size down. Mediums fit like a large in other name brand athletic brands. White is see through.

Well fitting and good looking.

This pair of white mesh shorts are very good. They fit well, and look especially good. They go well with white sneakers and t-shirt and especially nice with tan legs. They are somewhat sheer but not to the extent that would cause any problems in public. I recommend them.

Great shorts! Just be careful of the white...

I bought a couple of pairs of these and a couple of the Champion brand mesh shorts with pocket. I like the Russell brand better, better waistband. I bought white and stealth. The medium fits my 32-33" waist perfectly. The fabric is great. I bought the stealth and white. The white has a see-through issue in sharp contrast to the stealth. I don't know why the same fabric can be so different in terms of how opaque it is. It's a mesh fabric so I get it, I just didn't think the color would turn out to be so important. Pictures are worth a thousand reviews so I included some here. One shows me pulling the stealth fabric tight against my leg - nothing to see really. The other photo of me just standing with the white shorts produces a faint view of my leg and the trunks I am wearing. That's just standing. Now imagine you do anything that presses a body part against the fabric... You know, like your knee... there's your knee for onlookers to mock. Based on this experience, I would venture to guess that all the other colors won't show skin. In terms of underwear/compression gear, it will come down to the contrast between them and the shorts. For these white shorts, I won't be leaving my house in anything but white underneath. Oh - and you thought Crystal Light was just a beverage.

Good shorts for the price

Good shorts for the price. The white is pretty transparent; if I wear anything remotely dark underneath, it's very visible. I really bought these to wear over running tights, though, so that's not an issue for me. The shorts do a good job of wicking moisture and appear to be well made. The medium fits my 34" waist well, and they go to just about my knees. I don't know my true inseam, but I wear either 34" or 36" inseam dress pants. Having a pocket is always nice. There's nothing really special about these, but they do exactly what I expect them to do at a very reasonable price.

Pockets show through the white fabric, but otherwise they are fine

If you are in-between sizes, go with the smaller size. The medium was a little tight on me, but that was expected. However, I was swimming in the large. I would also go with no pockets, especially on for the white shorts. The pockets are visible through the fabric from the outside. It makes for a weird look.

White ones are basically see through and not wearable in public

5’ 9. Medium. Fit well. I have 2 pairs of Russell workout shorts and they are good. However, I recently ordered a pair of white ones and that was a waste of 20 bucks. They are poor quality and see through so I can’t wear them to the gym. I am rather disappointed that there isn’t an additional lining to reduce the see through “feature”. I give the 2 other pairs of Russell shorts a B+ but give an F to the white ones as they are truly see through.

Breathable & Light, but very Thin

These are good for the price. The only fallback is that the ones I ordered (White)- the color in conjunction with the weight/thickness of the material makes them quite easy to see through. If you wear colored undergarments- they will almost certainly be visibly outlined under these shorts.

Made from fairly see-through material

Didn't like the flared bottoms on these shorts. They are too large and poorly designed at the bottom, more like a skirt.

Very nice shorts but they are see through and I don't ware underwater lol. I gave them to my 20 year old son and they look great on him. I did order a dark one for me
