Decent Coat

This coat is the second excessively heavy coat I've gotten from China this year. I sent the first one back, but had a special deal on this one so kept it. I can't even imagine with it's stuffed with, but it is dense, therefore heavy to wear.

Use size guide! Such a warm and cozy coat!

I’m 5’8” and 160lbs wearing the medium. I typically order a large, but went with the size guide and I’m glad I ordered the medium! It fits great! The jacket is warm! It’s lined inside, and has cozy material on the outside. I don’t think it’s incredibly flattering. I feel like I look very wide in it. The pocket placement isn’t my favorite - but I still love the coat!

Soooo warm

I've usually had good (hehe) experiences with Goodthreads clothing, but was a bit skeptical about this teddy sherpa coat. I'm not a big fan of the style, but it looked different from the other ones out there, so I got it in my usual size (Large) in black. I definitely missed the part where it said oversized, because it is definitely more a XL than Large. The sleeves are a bit long on me, so if you want more True to Size, I would go down a size. But this is good news for those who are plus size, because I also got it for my mom in XXL and it fits her nicely (she usually wears 2X-3X). As for quality, I am impressed. I like that the buttons are sewn on a flat strip of fabric so it's easy to close whereas many other teddy coats just sew buttons and buttonholes onto the 'sherpa'. It's also nice that the pockets are super deep, so you can fit your hands and gloves or phone comfortably. Do wish there was at least one inner pocket, but not a major dealbreaker. I think if you get this coat, you will make a lot of people ask where you got it, because that's what happened with my mom. It's a great quality coat for a reasonable price and will keep you warm for years.
