Super cute, but buttons not sewn well
Love this coat and get compliments every time I wear it. Unfortunately, 2 buttons came off the second time I wore it; one on the sleeve and one main button. I would still recommend getting it, but I would reinforce the stitching on every button before you wear it… and keep the spare button just in case!

Unique but bad fabric
A cute style but not without flaws. So this jacket is very unique. Unlike what some reviewers have said about the hood being too big, that is what is the best part of this coat. It is meant to have a dramatic oversized hood (think Little Red Riding Hood) And personally that is what gives this coat such a unique look. However it is not without flaws. For reference I ordered a small and the coat is large in the bust and waist for me. If an extra small was available, that would probably be the perfect fit for me. I am 5'5" 118lbs and meaurements 34-26-38. If your considering what size to order.. go by your bust and waist size because the style flares out a lot from the hips. I gave this jacket 3 stars based on the style. At $99 is it overpriced for the quality of the material. The jacket is a woven yarn like material and will definelty not hold up to much wear. It is the type of material that will easily pill and get caught on seatbelts or purse straps, even fingernails. It arrived with a couple visible strings hanging in the fabric, it I were to cut these strings or pills it would make a hole that would continuously unravel. If you are planning to wear this coat everyday, anticipate it is going to get pulls and not look so great after a short amount of time. But if youre only planning to wear this coat every once in a while for the style then you can decide if it's worth it or not. Personally, even though I really liked the style I ended up returning it. If the jacket got a pull in it, there is no fixing it, it would look ratty and I wouldn't wear it. I didn't want to risk wasting $100 on something that will not hold up overtime. And chances are it would get a pull in it one of the first times wearing it. I ordered the merlot color and mustard color. Both colors are true to the website. The mustard is NOT a bright yellow, it is a true mustard color and the merlot color is just that, the color of red wine. I've attached pictures for reference. And a close up of a pull in the fabric.

All of the buttons fell off, but I still love it.
I am 5', 145lbs. Most of my weight is in my hips, and I have a small waist. I'm a 34DD. This coat fits like a dream. It arrived with half of the buttons loose, and within a week, all of the large buttons on the front have popped off. But that's okay, because they are black & brass plastic & gaudy and I hate them. I purchased some 30mm & 20mm wooden buttons here on Amazon (those are the sizes you need), and I'm going to sew them on when they get here. Until then, I can tie the belt to close the coat. I love the weave of the fabric, although I can tell it will snag easily. Weirdly enough, it doesn't attract as much pet hair as a regular wool coat. The belt ties right at the smallest part of my waist and makes the bottom flair out. It's fantastic. I've gotten many compliments.

If you're like me, and repurchasing this coat, the cut is a little off. 3.5 stars is more accurate.
I absolutely adore Steve Madden's Once Upon a Thyme coat, as I have the green version purchased from a different vendor in the past. I wanted to add to my collection, so I purchased the white version here. My green coat is a small and is very roomy without being baggy, and still looks tailored. The fit of the white coat is similar in the body, but the arms! They are significantly tighter! My previous version had room to move your arms comfortably within the coat. This white version is skin tight in the arms. It's a little uncomfortable in my opinion, and I'm not sure how well it would work if I wore any long sleeves underneath it. They'd have to be pretty thin. I'm not sure what went wrong here, because previously I would have described this style of coat as the best I've ever had. This most recent purchase makes me question the quality and consistency. Perhaps, the manufacturer changed the cut in the time between my previous purchase and this current one, but if so, the change was a bad decision. I had planned on purchasing more colors here later, but I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. Also of note, the buttons do tend to come lose, but are relatively easy to repair.

I would have given this coat five stars BUT it falls apart at the seams. It looks well made until you put it on and the seams come apart at the armpits. The color is pretty and the shape and cut of the coat is interesting and I get many compliments.

Cozy and feminine
I adore this coat and get so many compliments. It's such a feminine twist on the classic pea coat. The hood is very large, and when I put it up I look like I am in Lord of the Rings or some fairy tale, but I rock it any way. The peplum/flare of the skirt part is very flattering, especially with a dress underneath. On top of that, it is WARM. I can wear this down to about 20 degrees and still be comfortable (unless I was spending a long period of time outside just standing around, then I would say 30 degree).

Disappointed
I really love the way the coat fit & looked when I first recieved it, although, I do not like the way it wears. After wearing it only 5 times, it has become very "pilly" & leaves lint on everything.

Stylish and fun
Great light-weight coat! Fit is flattering, if a little large but I am petite. The fabric is a loose woven tweed style that may catch on jewelry. Not sure the buttons will stay- they are large domed plastic ones but I can replace them easily. The hem is longer in back which gives the coat a twirl-skirt- very girly and fun.

Bonito abrigo
Me gusto mucho este abrigo, realmente es favorecedor, recibí halagos. Lo único por lo cual no le puse 5 estrellas, es porque los botones vienen muy mal puestos, en la primera puesta se cayeron 3, ya los reforcé todos!!! así que si lo adquieres te aconsejo que te tomes el tiempo para darles un refuerzo antes de usar el abrigo. De vd es lindo ya pedí uno más en el tono vino
