Excellent product

These are thin enough to double for fine glassware, yet the cost is reasonable. We wash by hand (our well water makes a mess of glasses in the dishwasher), and wipe with microfiber towel. We use them nightly and are still proud to serve wine in them to guests after three years (though, admittedly, we have broken several so some are newer—can’t tell which is which).

These are nice glasses, BUT....

These appear to be nice wine glasses, BUT they will NOT hold 16 ounces. Using a measuring pitcher, the wine glasses hold only 14 ounces when filled to the rim. I would rate them at no more than 12 ounces for a full pour. They arrived dirty so I would not want to send them as a gift directly. I hand washed them and they felt sturdy. They have a light feel. The other thing to note (as others have) is that "Libby Signature" is etched on the rim at the bottom of the stem. It isn't overly visible but you do notice that it is there.

Really nice glasses

Read a NY Times review of wine glasses and these were the top pick -- so I decided to order a set. They are quite nice -- especially for the price! I ordered a second set.

Quality control & shipping issues

I bought one box of 4 glasses. It was delivered with some packing material inside missing, and with one glass broken. I took out the unbroken glasses. Two were fine, one had a manufacturing defect with a strange bump on the rim of the glass. I requested a replacement and got a new box of four intact glasses without defects. Could probably use some better quality control - shipping defective glasses with missing packing material is a bad sign.

NYT's Wirecutter recommended these cheap but fragile

these break easily and Amazon packages the Libbey box in massive amount of cardboard. I guess Amazon knows they are too fragile. Try to buy these locally instead.

Seller keeps sending cheaper Libby glass set.

Seller keeps sending the cheaper Libby wine glass set. Tried buying it twice. Not sure how many others haven’t paid attention and gotten conned. The glasses themselves are nice so I finally just ordered the cheaper set directly.

BE WARNED! Product not as advertised

Those expecting to order these glasses and receive the Libbey Signature Kentfield Estate All-Purpose Wine Glass are in for an unpleasant surprise. I ordered these glass based on a recommendation from the New York Times's Wirecutter review. There is heralded as "Made in the USA" and the best-all purpose wine glass available, being durable yet still thin and elegant enough for dinner parties. So I was surprised to receive a shipment from Fujian in the People's Republic of China containing completely different and very ordinary wine glasses made in China. The vendor claimed ignorance of the mix-up, explaining that it had been shipped from the factory. To its credit Amazon provided a full refund, however it is unclear whether I am expected to ship this product back to China at my expense or be left with a product I don't want.

Not worth it.. returning..

I wanted light weight, thin glass, no thick lip at the rim...that's how a perfect wine glass shud b... reading the international review tot this one would meet those criterias... unfortunately it doesnt... Not sure if the seller in India is just selling a duplicate brand..or the original one itself is like this...not worth the price though...it's like glasses from OCEAN brand..which is half the price
