Belt not equivalent to MTD OE belt

I purchased this belt because it was cheaper than the MTD belt and, being made by Oregon, I thought it would be better than some of the lesser-known aftermarket brands. I ran it for two mowings and it shook the mower deck something terrible. I also replaced the blades so I knew it wasn't a bent blade. I then bought an MTD OE belt and mower runs as smooth as new. In checking the specs I now see that MTD lists the length of the OE belt as 101.2" long while Oregan lists this belt as 102.125". I'm guessing that the extra 1" in length adds enough slack to cause the vibration. The listing states that Oregon would return for free in unused condition but unfortunatly I had to run it to find it didn't work.

good tight fit

It fit very well and it seems to be made well but I won't be able to see how it holds up until spring when I put the mowerdeck on

Disapointed

Purchased belt due to Oregon name, even payed a little extra for it. After first time mowing grass, belt show cracks. The third time I mowed the belt started to come apart length wise and started jumping off pulley's.

Item is improperly advertised. Package states 101-1/2 x 5/8 and it is too short for my application. Unfortunately I waited past the return period before attempting to install.

return postage

I shipped the belt 75-362 back ,the belt was wrong size,it was 5/8" wide,was suppose to be,1/2" wide,wouldn`t work,so I shipped it back,i paid for postage on return belt,powertool replacement parts,refunded purchase price,BUT didn`t refund my postage,it wasn`t my fault?.
