meh, belt too tight and causing vibration

belt is too tight, so blades never stop rotating. Unfortunately, with my mower, there is no tension adjustments. The belt I received is also has a wobble. Not entirely sure why, could be the belt is slightly heavier at one point. this creates excessive deck vibration. The blades are perfectly balanced and there is no debris in the pulley wheels that could be causing this. My mower model is MTD 13Am695G372. looking for an OEM part to see if it fits better. update 8-23: I bought a OEM part and the vibration is gone. Comparing the Oregon belt with the OEM MTD belt, the Oregon belt was about a 1/16 inch wider and 1/8 inch thicker. There wasn't an obvious lump in the belt that would have explained the vibration, but I guess when the RPM's are up, a small difference in the belt can be magnified. The part I ended up installing is numbered 954-0371A and replaces the original part number 754-0371A. Yep, more money, but the vibration would have caused issues all around over time.

Great Belt

They belt fit as it should. It is surprising how much better a mower cuts with a new belt. Oregon makes good belts, however they are not made in OREGON!

Great belt

I slipped it on and off mowing I went. Worked great, even though the grass had reached mid calf height by the time I was able to mow.

MTD Replacement Belt

This was the cheapest replacement belt for an item that is no longer stocked. The belt was an exact fit and works as well as the original, which lasted ten years. Great service and delivery.
