Terrific glasses, comfortable. Great price point.

These are really terrific sunglasses. Likes?: The design is an "aviator" design, with a slight twist in that the glasses sit lower than another famous brand. The frames are quite comfortable. I do think the polarized lens are very good, though not as excellent as is available (but not at this price point). The fit and feel is really quite nice. I like wearing these. The lenses are quite good for being polarized. I do hve to say these are not quite as nice as another Hawaiian island named brand which have been my go to for years. I can tell a difference in the lens quality. It is NOT the case these are bad, just slightly different, but these are also coming in at a different price point. Dislikes?: The case is thoughtfully recheck led materials, but it is a paper kind of thing and though the design is cool. it feels rather flimsy so I wouldn't say I am huge fan at all. Overall?: For the price point, these are really nice glasses. The fit is terrific. Though some suggest this is wider, for my face it fits very well. The frames are sturdy enough. This is a nice pair to consider, and I will enjoy wearing these!

Clearly See to Drive

8/15/21~ Crystal clear polarized vison while driving. Which is what I desperately needed so, Woo Hoo. However, in dimmer light, not so clear but my 7 others can handle that. As to shape, good for a wide/round face. Has an Oakley wrap around style with the shape of a slim aviator. So used to classic Avi's thought they'd be small but suits my face well. Worth the investment based on 2 things. Legit clear polarization & no markings from fingers/dirt. You know how one fingerprint can ruin a pair of shades? Not here. Timerland's are the real deal. Comes with a triangle hard-sided paper case & good cleaning cloth. Be the 1st place I look for my next pair.

Great lenses. Over-sized, wide aviator frames. Super lightweight.

The lenses on these sunglasses are really good - Timberland Men’s Navigator Sunglasses - Matte Black. It’s the first thing I look for with sunglasses. These lenses provide great protection against the sun, the quality is there. Both the lenses and frames are dark, it’s a blended one-tone, the frames are thin and metal. The style is an over-sized aviator with a lot of width - lens width is 61mm. Both the width and lens size could be issues for fit (face shape proportions). It’s an over-sized look. The glasses are very lightweight, very comfortable, and have a super smooth slide to get into place. They are a bit on the fragile side with the thin frames but to help with protection a foldable thin hard case is included.

Wide Shades for Wide Faces

I have a super wide (aka fat) face, and have always had trouble finding those that fit them. I can probably count within ten fingers the number of long term sunglasses I have kept over the 20 years I have been using them. My last one was a pair of $400 Prada that I kept for over five years because of the price and because I didn't want to go looking for another, even after the paint on the rims have been chipped down to its shinier core metal. No one has ever been able to gift me a pair as none of them have fit properly - either I have to go try them on myself or I don't buy at all. So when I got the chance to test these Timberland's out, it was the perfect opportunity. At 61mm wide, it's not the widest pair I've ever owned. The Prada one still feels a lot more comfortable at the temples of my face. But this one is more slender in material, and a heck of a lot lighter, while still conveying the heft of quality metal. It comes in a unique thick paper case that's holds it shape very well while being small and portable to take along with you on trips. I still prefer my Prada's, but this one will be my everyday that I leave in the car, especially during these bright summer days.

Bit big for me, but comfortable, reduces glare

The design of these glasses are a bit big for me but it fits pretty well regardless (more of a preference). I would say if you have a large head this will work for you. The design are very big frame and this one actually has those nose pieces. The down side of those nose pieces is that they get dirty and grime build up. Other than that these do come with a simple carrying case which is nice as well as a microfiber cloth to clean. These sunglasses do have a pretty nice look to them and it does not hinder my vision when using it. It provides definitely UV protection and it has a durable frames so you should not have to worry about it breaking. The lens are okay and does not look like the coating is chipping or coming off. The lens are prone to scratching. They are easy to store in your glasses compartment if you have one in your car. Overall I think these glasses are very nice and pretty protective for what you get. The thing I like is that you can change out the nose piece when it becomes too dirty.
