Quality light fixture

Quality light fixture, I paired it with a classic look LED filament elongated bulb. With the glass sides, top and open bottom it provides plenty of main entry light for my 20'x6' porch.

Very nice

The style I wanted for my 1898 home. I only have two wishes that should have made it perfect: 1) Dust to dawn (will resolve that with the light bulb), 2) I wish they made this lantern in bigger sizes. It's a little tiny on my big front porch. But for the style and price I'm very happy.

Pay attention NUVO!!

We were looking for 4 matching outdoor lights for the front of our home. This company was the only one that had matching entry light, underarm light for front wall of our house and pier lights for the wing walls on either side of our home. All the lights arrived on time and intact except for the underarm wall mount light. It arrived smashed. Both the box and the light. I immediately got on line and ordered a replacement giving an honest review of the condition it arrived in.The company immediately sent a replacement and gave instruction and a mailing label to return the smashed one within 30 days.....very fair. The second one arrived....damaged also. My husband and I took parts from both and were able to make one good complete light. We then returned the other 'one'. It is a shame. These lights are beautiful and fairly easy to install. We also purchased the pier mounts for the wing wall lights. They are quality....much better than Lowes and fit the lights perfectly. Now that all are installed we are very happy!! NUVO PAY ATTENTION,!!,CHANGE THE PACKAGING AND THE CARRIER FOR THE ARM LAMPS!!!! It's costing you money and tarnishing your reputation!!

Looks great but may have issues installing.

Looks great and clean. We did have isssue with installation because the long screw that attaches to the lamp and the ceiling was not long enough to tighten the end of the lamp. Luckily the existing light had a longer screw and was the same size. No fun trying to install on top of the latter and finding it won't install as is.

Check for damaged wires before installing!!!!

We purchased two of this style (and one coordinating lamp) to replace the ugly lights that came with the house. Though not packaged as I would have expected for something that contains breakables, two of the three had no visible damage. The third (this particular one) had a couple cosmetic dings, but since it wouldn't be seen close up we chose to keep it, big mistake. After installing the other two we set to install this one. Simple process but when the power was turned on the thing blew & burned out instantly. We took it down to see what happened and apparently the wiring at the entrance to the housing was severed!! WOW!! Had we tested it before completely attaching it (as in, holding it in our hands), the outcome could have been much worse. Needless to say, this one is being returned. The other two, beautiful. For now, we'll be a bit lopsided, but at least unscathed! UPDATE 06/17/16: The replacement lamp for the initial order was receive broken, and returned. For fear of receiving yet another broken lamp we waited a while. Just reordered this again. It arrived in a shoddy box, in many pieces (see last pic). I could have packed it back up AGAIN but did my best at assembling it. For the price I would have expected so much better. I understand once but 3 times receiving a poorly made product?? Its almost like they keep sending me the same thing over & over again. Next purchase will NOT be a Nuvo Lighting product.

Okay for money but wrong height

I read the measurements and knew this would fit for my front porch but didn’t realize you couldn’t hang it from the first link that’s attached. So the measurements were wrong on the description of you can’t hang from the first loop. We zip tied it and took off the S hook and it works fine. Also, for some reason the instructions that came in the box were for a completely different light. We didn’t mind because we know how to install lights but still.
