Decent hardware - no instructions
This is my 3rd national hardware garage purchase, and the third that doesn't come with instructions. The other two were a bit more forgivable (a door kickplate and some organizer hooks) as they are at least partially self explanatory. Building a fold down table/box, though, is not self explanatory. Not including instructions is a bit more "DIY" than I thought I was signing up for and I can't give more than 3 stars for this. I got this kit over 5 months ago with a specific use in mind, but I just keep putting it off due to the fact that I would have to wing it. Luckily, another reviewer pointed out that I can email NH to get decent instructions which I will have to do now.

No instructions or specs on it's max stability
My intentions for this kit were to install it on an antique in-wall ironing board cabinet. I first noticed the frailness of the hardware I was employing for support after I had finished my restoration. I took a step back and reconsidered my choice because of the items' weight and general feel. Will this kit be strong enough to support the weight of my laborious work? I then turned to the packing to check the specifications for the weight it can support. None of which were available, and there were no guidelines on how to assemble the parts onto wood. Just a QR code that led to a website with examples of crafts made with the kits their business sells. . Once again I've already visited this site in search of instructions for a different kit. Simply click the link after scanning the code. I suddenly recalled the pieces of the other kit I had received that were of low quality and did not come with instructions. In light of the durability I anticipate this kit providing, I intend to use it to build a tiny structure. As soon as it's finished, I'll post an update.

Parts Review
The hinges are stiff and will help keep the cabinet closed in the upright position and they are also sturdy when the cabinet is in the lowered/open position. I was surprised by how sturdy these are. The folding support arms are stiff, which will help keep the load of the cabinet door from dropping open too fast. These also seem surprisingly sturdy. The screws are just fine and the corner braces are solid and sturdy and will hold a good load as well. The spring-loaded, magnetic catches work fine but they feel like lightweight plastic that may break if treated too rough. I plan on buying 2 metal, magnetic catches to take the place of the plastic ones. I’m doing this because I want to make absolutely sure that the cabinet will stay closed, because I placed this above the toilet in a very small bathroom. It is storage and a fold down table that acts as a place to set clean clothes while showering. I broke down the cost of buying each part individually and I found that it is cheaper to buy this kit. The price seems right for the product received!

Convenient Kit
The kit came with everything (except the wood) to make a wall mounted fold down table. However, the box says there would be digital instructions, but I couldn't find them on the website. I finally contacted the company who quickly emailed them to me. Before writing my review, i checked their website again to see if the instructions were available. But, they weren't. This is the reason for the 3 stars. However, with the instructions, there were suggested dimensions given for the wood. Also, instructions on where and how to place the hinges and even what drill size to use for pilot holes for each different screw size. The one I made, see photo, is a little smaller than the given dimensions. The hardware is of good quality. This fold out desk should last many, many years.

What We Needed
We have a tiny bathroom with railings but nowhere to put a change of clothes to dress into after you bathe. My husband spotted this and said it was just what we needed. He attached it to a wall-mounted painting that can swing down on a hinge to form a dressing table just above a towel rail. It’s a really nice kit. We didn’t use all the hardware but since you can reach it from in the bath, we are considering extending it from the wall like a shallow medicine cabinet to place our bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in and hide some of the clutter we have around the bath. You get all the hardware you need, but do need to buy the wood to make the cabinet. The rest is left to your imagination.

No instructions included
This look like a nice kit to create a combination door/table or simply a table that folds down from the wall and folds back out of the way when you are finished using it. 1. The kit is for a smaller table than I had imagined from the graphic promotional material; 2. I expected the kit to include a full set of instructions as to how the various table structures are created, included recommended limits on table size and bearing weight. There were no instructions. One small card was included that advertised other of the company's products and also purported to provide a link to "instructions,design guide and step by step videos and inspiration". The single video applicable to this product was, at best superficial. I could not locate any instructions or design guide. Until they provide me with true instructions and a design guide, i rate this three starts. If and when they provide me with such information, I will reconsider the rating.

If you want a sturdy and durable workspace to fold down and then be able to fasten it again quickly, this kit is perfect!
